Thanks for this reg code, unfortunately it did not work. All my video files are associated with media player classic homecinema. This is the only thing i cant get it to work on server, been using server 2008 x64 for the last couple of months as workstation with windows7 (dual boot). Am wondering if anybody actually ever had video thumbnails working on server 2008..

Hi Does anybody know how to enable video thubmnails for common video files eg, mpeg avi ts etc... I tried vista codec and klite-codec packs, but still cant get video thumbnails.. Checking the "folder options>view>display file icon on thumbnails" does not help as well, even group policy editor didnt work as well...

Hey muiz, i actually made one for x64 for my personal use, and was going to upload here (with ricktendo's permission), but due to my hdd crash i lost few important stuffs. Anyways i will be making another one soon, and will let you know when i made one, and also upload here as well with ricks permission.

Thanks lego for addin this "skip" option. Now it works, and no more offline mode as well. Although it has the same problem as before "cant connect to remote server" (for the wimfltr. inf file) but with the skip option, it works. (did not try mounting any images yet, will let you know) Thank you EDIT: It mounts wim images, but i get this error when unmounting the image EDIT: 2 I forgot to mention, it unmounts perfectly with "discard" but if i select "save and unmount" option i get the error above

I currently have the same problem as well. As far as i know legoslash is working on this.

Use to be my favourite player as well, but then i switched to Media Player Classic home cinema version, and since then never looked back as VLC. Thanks for this great addon

lol..i cant believe them, their working on bugs fast and releasing them way too fast, which is good, but annoying for you (addon makers). My advice maybe wait for another couple of days before making the addon, just incase another build releases

How did you do that? i have been trying to get desktop experience and other stuffs installed via xml, but no luck yet. i use Servermanagercmd to install features on first logon, which is quite time consuming and boring...lol. Can you please tell me how you got Features (Desktop Experience, Quality Windows Audio Video Experience) setted up in your wim file. I got everything setted up in my server 2008 install.wim, including dreamscene sidebar, tvcard(bda), themes, etc....except for desktop experience. Please let me know. thanks EDIT: I finally got it.

You can also do this with unattend xml.
