  1. Do it with Autounattend.xml and place it in the root of your Windows DVD. Example for German : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><!--Created by Win Toolkit v1.4.0.75--><unattend xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:unattend"> <settings pass="windowsPE"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core-WinPE" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="NonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State"xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <SetupUILanguage> <UILanguage>de-DE</UILanguage> </SetupUILanguage> <InputLocale>0407:00000407</InputLocale> <UserLocale>de-DE</UserLocale> <UILanguage>de-DE</UILanguage> <SystemLocale>de-DE</SystemLocale> </component> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core-WinPE" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="NonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State"xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <SetupUILanguage> <UILanguage>de-DE</UILanguage> </SetupUILanguage> <InputLocale>0407:00000407</InputLocale> <UserLocale>de-DE</UserLocale> <UILanguage>de-DE</UILanguage> <SystemLocale>de-DE</SystemLocale> </component> </settings></unattend>
  2. Latest version of WinToolkit is And then i think you should take latest version of .NET 4.5.2 Addon. Then there is no need to integrate updates for it. Renaming the patches could help. AMD64_X86-all-ndp45-kb2972107-x64_338bd55ed27b6897c6bcaa2a6ef9c57e77b95910.exe to NDP45-kb2972107-x64.exe
  3. ok, i will try to show how it works for me : [Config] INSTALLDIR=Sources\WinTK\Apps DRIVERDIR=Sources\WinTK\Treiber #Here are some other samples.#INSTALLDIR=E:\Software#DRIVERDIR=X:\MyDriverCollectionREBOOT=FALSE #Things which will always get installed. 5. Have you ever thought of selling the tabs the user need ? update + driver integration for free and say about 5€ for every additional tab the user really needs (e.g. Wim-Registry Editor, Component Removal, AiO-Disc-Creator and so on) and about 25€ for unrestricted WinToolkit.
  6. No problems here with any version of 1.5.x.x
  7. I think driver + update integration & tweaks should be free. In my opinion about 15€ - 25€ would be fair.
  8. Oh think you're right. Got similar problem with security essentials long time ago. i had to make an exception in security essentials for all wintoolkit folders and its temp / working folders
  9. Maybe because its same folder for User Temp / WTK Temp ?!? User Temp Path: C:\Windows\WinToolkit_Temp WTK Temp Path: C:\Windows\WinToolkit_Temp
  10. No problem here. Maybe its because of working on desktop : C:\Users\ira\Desktop\Win ToolKit Portable + DISM\Updates\ C:\Users\VADYM\Desktop\Win ToolKit Portable + DISM\Settings.txt
  11. Thanks again, it works. After asking Google, i found this, maybe useful for the one or another : http://unattended.sourceforge.net/installers.php
  12. Thanks for the tip. I will test it now.
  13. A little note to burnaware-free : it will be installing a toolbar. my workaround for this: extract it with universal-extractor, delete the temp folder inside the extracted setup, then edit install.iss and compile it with inno-setup.
  14. I saw you found out the answer on your own. I found it here on post2 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?/topic/21631-to-those-who-are-unhappy-about-2580-being-bundled-with-opencandy/

  16. I think you should have a look here : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd349350(v=ws.10).aspx "This supplement is optional. If you do not need to modify the SP1 Boot.wim and Winre.wim files, you can continue to use the Windows 7 RTM tools, including WinPE 3.0, without installing this supplement." I think this explains some other driver integrating issues too. Last time i experimented i saw boot.wim is untouched. this i saw at the date boot.wim was last processed : 12.04.2011 Next i installed WAIK and this supplement. Then i tested. After test ended the date was actual one !! By the way : Host Controller Drivers always must integrated BEFORE Hub Drivers !!!
  17. I think its because Liam changed back to RunOnce. I'm looking for a thread and give you feedback in a few moments. Ok, look here post #48 : http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12111-solved-1437x-silent-installer-runonce-does-not-work/page-3 Here i saw what i think the whole time about RunOnce : Its not reliable ! http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314866/EN-US "Furthermore, applications should use the RunOnce keys only for transient conditions (such as to complete application setup); an application must not continually re-create entries under RunOnce. Doing so will interfere with Windows Setup." In my opinion RunOnceEx is the only way. Since Liam changed back to RunOnce I delete this registry key with WIM Registry Editor : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\WIM_Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce]"!1WinToolkit"="WinToolkitRunOnce.exe" and then i let Setupcomplete.cmd write this registry-key : HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx\050 /V 1 /D "%WINDIR%\System32\WinToolkitRunOnce.exe" /f ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS with this solution and NO pink popup !! @LiamPlease change to RunOnceEx and most of the problems will be past
  18. Hi Liam. After some testings with Setupcomplete i found this out: First I prevent the regular start you implemented it with deleting this registry key: REG DELETE HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx /f ------- Then i add this registry key: REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx\050 /VE /D "WinToolkit RunOnce" /f if exist %WINDIR%\System32\WinToolkitRunOnce.exe REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx\050 /V 1 /D "%WINDIR%\System32\WinToolkitRunOnce.exe" /f It shows similar to your way. The window is shown. ------- In next test i added ONLY this reg key: if exist %WINDIR%\System32\WinToolkitRunOnce.exe REG ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx\050 /V 1 /D "%WINDIR%\System32\WinToolkitRunOnce.exe" /f ... and what happens ?!? there is no window which is interfering the optical beauty

    @Liam Seems to be working perfectly fine for me, too. Just tested.
  20. @Thiersee yes i would be satisfied, if at least minimizing this thing is possible
  21. if it's possible anyway to make it invisible, could be advantage to have the choice. visible for debugging or testing reasons. invisible for nicer look.
  22. It' more about cosmetic. this window stays the whole time. your silent-installer opens, but the window still stays in background. would be nicer look if it doesn't stay after Silent-Installer had started.
  23. Hi Liam. Is there a possible way to make this window that shows all programs that will be installed during RunOnceEx invisible ? thought about just deleting this registry key which i copy & paste from registry log of WinToolkit : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\WIM_Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx\001 | =Win Toolkit RunOnce | String maybe it's possible to make it visible or invisible via checkbox in WinToolkit's settings ?
