  1. is there any way you could update your code so that one could select several files to 'move one step up / down' or 'move to top / bottom' of the silent installs + SFX' list? if there is many files in the list after being fed to the list in one huge bunch and they have to have to be re-aranged this could save a little time

It would be nice, if it were possible the possibility in the WTK-Installer to check/uncheck ALL thesilent-installers, like in older versions. Thanks a lot. Thiersee

I recently had an image fail to install with no clear explanation. Only after a long time did I realize it's because there wasn't enough room on the hard drive to integrate it completely. Can you please halt the integration and show an error message when there's not enough HD space to finish integration?

An idea came to me while reading another thread (you could probably guess which one). Would it be possible to modify the manner in which WinToolKit runs the silent installers? By this I mean instead of using the "RunOnce" registration key to launch all of the installers, use only one to start the process. The "process" would read a text file (in the currently used apps folder) that has each installer listed (one per line) with its necessary parameters. In addition, I believe that WinToolKit has more than one mode of installation (all, minimal, etc), so more than one text file can be used for each mode. Reasoning behind this request: What is currently in place is a …

  5. Allow Silent Installer process to resume where it left off after computer restart. This to allow a reboot step somewhere in the S-I process.

First thanks for great application, and hard work. It's saves me lot of time. I am thinking is possible somehow to install famous SVCPACK addons as we do in XP (a T-13). I don't know is right place exist, but will be nice before last restart, and to be part of main install before first run and OOBE, and only for sfx/switchless/silent installers.

  8. Windows Toolkit does not copy the apps folder over to the target drive like WPI. With Win Toolkit the Apps / Installers folder is executed from the install media. WPI can be made to copy the installer files over to the target drive prior to executing the installers. It would be nice if Windows Toolkit could do the same. This would allow for users to span their install.wim over multiple DVD's / CD's without breaking the integration of silent installs. Windows Toolkit as of 1.4.0.77 has a component to split a WIM to span over multiple DVD's but with limitations. See what I mean?

    1. sir in driver installer tool in currently installed system, when we add folder of drivers and then these drivers are added successfully in list then there should also be option that "force to install drivers unsigned". b'z during installation many times "windows security" alert message comes that "windows can't verify the publisher of this driver softwares", to avoid this message again and again there should also be option that "force to install drivers unsigned" so that we can tick this option before installation starts. 2. In win toolkit, there should be option to take backup of all drivers of currently installed system. 3. Driver installer should also insta…

In v1.3.0.41A+ you can now select reg files on the AIO Tool (Tweak Tab), you don't have to convert the reg file, Win Toolkit will do this for you. This new feature lets you import your own custom tweaks via Win Toolkit. ------------------------------------------------------ My point is that you don't have to make a request for every tweak BUT if you think a tweak will be great for other users, feel free to share in this thread. Also make sure W7T does not already contain the tweak(s). --Zimmer--- a handy reference for tweaks is the Group Policy Settings Reference - this lists the registry keys here's the direct link to the Win 7/Server 2008 sheet... Vmware does not support the iso 9660 filesystem for EFI boot. Can an option be added to build the ISO using UDF? Current ISO generation from win toolkit produces an ISO that works fine for bios but not one that will boot in the esxi console for EFI. The following works manually: oscdimg.exe -m -o -u2 -udfver102 -pEF -e -bZ:\Server2008R2_SP1_Base\efi\microsoft\boot\efisys.bin Z:\Server2008R2_SP1_Base Z:\Images\ServerStandard2008R2_SP1_10142013_v3.isoThank you!

Maybe Mcrip Windows 8.1 repositories could be added. Also Office 2010 Post-SP1 should be changed to Post-SP2 as MRip only provides Post-SP2 updates for Office 2010. Thx, in advance...

Hey Liam, Im missing to managing the order to install updates in update-installer. Would be nice to have this feature, and off course also in v2.x Can be realized with buttons and right-click stuff like in AIO-Intgr. Greez Update: The same way for "retry after failed" for update-installer.

  17. Started by ricktendo,

You know someting that could work lego, you could integrate the updates into the lowest sku and export it many times and then use dism to convert the next higher "target edition" (same way method used to turn Windows 8 Pro to ProfessionalWMC) Integrate the updates into Starter (for x86 iso's) or into Home Basic (for x64,) then you export it multipple times, mount each image and covert & rename them BTW off topic but you should see this new feature in Windows 8, its very, very cool you should find a way of adding this command to your tool http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/153742-dism-improvements-in-windows-8/page__view__findpost__p__1015509

  19. The warning I'm talking about is the one attached, reffering to the possible errors generated by some (?) hotfixes in the Additionals folder from McRip servers. I suggest to remove / improve this vague warning, that may scare users away from the hotfixes in the Additional area (as the useful IE10 and probably soon the Satisfy WU hotfixes). Solution A - the quick solution - add this warning only when KB2592687 is loaded in AIO, as this is the only hotfix that can make windows install process go bananas. See detailed thread here, it can generate errors even without its prerequisite. Solution B - the ''complete'' solution, with three sub-requests. This covers ALL pro…

Would like to see peimage.exe added to the already almost perfect WinToolKit. This way when I or whom ever wants to slipstream drives to either boot or install wim, your tool will call on peimage.exe. peimage.exe requires each path for the driver to be absolute and as you all know, driverpacks has tons of subfolders and peimage doesn't scan sub folders (which is a pain to type all the paths in a cmd) like DISM plus DISM doesn't work on a SP2 Vista image. When you point to a driver folder in WinToolKit, the paths including subfolders is listed in a txt or cmd file somewhere I assume? Once the paths to the drivers including subfolders are written where ever, then WTK can ca…

  21. Excuse my poor english cause i'm french I am facing an issue with the Silent install + SFX section: When I try to delete some items, they actually aren't, but kept in the list when RunOnce is launched. My Runonce announce about 80 items, but i got only 30 of them to install. Is there a file (like an .xml or ini) where i can modify order and things installed?

Not critical, but something that may be a cool addition when you have time. Basically a function that allows you to install Win 7/8 from the iso (or whatever) to an HDD, be it "internal" (= in a hotswap bay) or USB HDD. From within a working OS (Win 7/8 or XP). Maybe with the option of running sysprep afterwards to prepare the thing to be placed on another machine. I found a guy that did write a bunch of scripts that do it. here
