KMS error Description STATUS_SUCCESS
During our configuration of Office 2013 KMS Host License Pack on a 2012 R2 KMS server we run into the following issues.
Once we have entered Activation type and also the Product Key in the Configure Key Management Service options we stuck on the Configuration screen below.
We have tried to add KMS Firewall exceptions for Private, Domain and Public networks, but once we clicked Commit we received the following KMS error:
The following error has occurred. Please resolve the error and try again.
To be able to fix this error we had to change the KMS TCP listening port from 0 to 1688.
For some reason Microsoft decided to set the KMS TCP listening port to 0.
Now, to check the status of Office product KMS activation you should enter this command in the elevated CMD window:
cscript %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /dlv 2E28138A-847F-42BC-9752-61B03FFF33CD
or just navigate to C:\Windows\System32 and enter:
slmgr.vbs /dlv 2E28138A-847F-42BC-9752-61B03FFF33CD
Please note that you need at least 5 unique KMS activation requests to be able to activate your Office product using KMS server host.
