so apparently if you have 4GB of memory on 64-bit XP, hibernation is completely disabled. no idea why...but does anyone know if theres a way i can enable hibernation (without using less RAM, of course)?

hii guys im like to know how to add an option in startup to restore an image with norton ghost you know that when windows start theres one option in menu "windows xp perofessional", my question how to add another item named restore xp when i choose it norton ghost start restor an image to drive c automaticlly, isee this in internet cafe but the manager not answer my question about that, so i wish to find the answer here

ok for starters this is about the inkball game from tablet edition fixed for xp. it works great and opens everytime it's clicked but does not show the cursor,but i found a fix. after opening the game and pressing alt on your keyboard the cursor shows. what i'm looking for is and alternitive .exe that will 1. open the game and 2. will auto apply the alt key. but i want the .exe to use the inkball icon. is there away of doing this? as i would want the new .exe to reside in the same folder with the game. thanks in advance, jimmy

I want to change the icons on the left side of the start menu, currently I have outlook and firefox but I want to change outlook to Windows Live Mail, how can this be accomplished in a unattended setup ? Hello I hope this is the right forum for a Windows xp question When Windows detects new hardware (be it graphic card or USB Peripheral) it automatically installs driver and if it can't find a driver it shows "Found New hardware wizard" that allows you to manually select a driver. My problem is that this "Found New hardware wizard" shows up every time when I plug a new device and I have to click Next Next Next.. until it finishes installation. It's just like in Windows 98 I want to fix it to the way it's supposed to be. It got nothing to do with "Windows Update" and "Driver Signing" settings in "System properties -> Hardware" tab, those are on default settings.…

I saw that in the i386 directory of my xp install cd the login and the boot files are in there so i want to replace them with my personalized versions only problem is there compressed dose anyone know how to compress my files the same way nlite dose it so that when i install xp it dosent get errors copying the file thanks. I have genuine version of xp. I want to format and re-install xp but I don't have bootable xp CD. So from where can I download bootable xp CD for free which have genuine version and from which I can reinstall genuine xp. I have my product id i.e serial key of my genuine xp version. If I install pirated version of xp and if i insert my genuine product id in that pirated version then would it become genuine xp from pirated xp? Hi all, I sit on a PC which don't have and Sound speakers connected to it and when i'm going to YouTube to watch a video ( i forget that there isn't any sound speaker) when the video finish i notice that there isn't and sound speaker. Yeah there is a sound card installed and its drive is also installed but no speakers.
