  1. Yup, I'm aware of that.
  2. I saw it and everything really is uber small
  3. My company is getting a replacement for my old business laptop and I have the opportunity to choose one of Lenovo models. I'm considering to choose either T500 or W500. Difference is only in screentype, screen resolution and graphic card, at least I think so. Although, graphic cards should be equivalent. LENOVO ThinkPad W500 • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2,80GHz (6MB cache) • Display: 15.4" WUXGA TFT 1920 x 1200 • Graphics: ATIMobility FireGL V5700 512MB • Memory: 2x 2GB DDR3 1066MHz (proširivo do 4GB) • Hard disk: 320GB SATA 7200rpm • DVD-ROM: DVD RW DL • Size: 357 x 255 x 33 mm • Weight: 2.6kg Lenovo ThinkPad T500 • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2,80GHz (6MB cache) • Display: 15.4" WSXGA+ TFT 1680 x 1050, AntiGlare • Graphics: ATIMobility Radeon HD3650 256MB • Memory: 2x 2GB DDR3 1066MHz (proširivo do 8GB) • Hard disk 320GB SATA • DVD-ROM: DVD RW DL • Size: 357 x 255 x 29.7 mm • Weight: 2.63kg I'm considering to go with T model as thishas better resolution IMO. I saw 1920x1200 on a 15.4 inch screen and it's hardto work on it if you don't put your eyes on the screen. Graphic cards should beequivalent, so no noticeable difference among those two. Everything else is the same. What are youropinions, thoughts?
  4. And forum is upgraded once again. This time we got RTE support for Google Chrome and Safari, along with Twitter account link (if you find that useful). We also got several bug fixes along with optimization of the forum software. As usual, any issues you may encounter, post here. Regards, Nik
  5. I've also unpinned '[Tool] True-AddOn Maker v1.0 Beta2 (Rl 1.1.0.5b)' since it hasn't been replied for almost a year. Try to keep this forums tidy guys
  6. I really don't think we need so many sticky topics. Sticky topics should be some special rules or specific forum guidelines. Those pinned topics are active enough to be on the top, so really no need to pin them out. Kels, Rick?
  7. Probably referring to wincert logo .psd. The one we're currently using.

Seems that we've found source of our problems. We've noticed that were getting at least 5 requests per second from IP address 68.58.188.236 to "index.php?act=rssout&id=1". Now, this is no longer a valid page in IPB3 (was in IPB2 however, although it was off too), but the fact that there are like 5 requests per second from the same IP means that our server was basically getting flooded with requests and just couldn't handle it. Upon editing .htaccess file to block this IP address load dropped from 16 to 2.22.. The problem was either we were being DOS'd by the IP mentioned above, more or less or it was a valid member who simply has a buggy RSS reader (and that RSS reader has the old invalid URL in it for our RSS feed). We should figure out which members can no longer access our site, let them know about the issue, so they can update the URL for the RSS feed in their reader, which should likely resolve the problems (when they could be unblocked again). Note to members: Please remove any RSS links you are using for WinCert.net Forum.
  9. Dear visitors, we're experiencing high load issues (sounds familiar , so you may have noticed that pages aren't loading as fast as they should. IPS support team is working on this problem and hopefully will be fixed as soon as possible. Regards, Nik
  10. You're right, will try to fix this. As you may have noticed, I've changed the forum background so it's a bit softer on they eyes. How do you guys like it?
  11. I miss it on Windows 7

Yeah, that probably won't mean much to him. Anyway, I'm not using HTPC because I don't want another PC in my house. I'm very satisfied with the Popcorn Hour

I didn't know that, probably 'cause I'm not into hardware lately. I own 8800GT which I've bought 2 years ago and it's still very good for me. Who know, in the future I might move to ATI as well, after I read several reviews of course .
  14. Is it buggy as RapidShare manager is or is it better?

Thanks beats, anything else to swap from the list, like memory, housing, PSU?

  17. Hi, my friend needs a new machine and is asking me for advice, although I'm not much into hardware lately. He found one configuration and asked me for an opinion. Here it is: - Intel® Core™ i7-950 Procesor - Intel® Desktop board DX58SO "Smackover" - Super Talent DDR3 1600 MHz 6 GB Triple Channel kit - Seagate 1 TB - Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS - Club 3D Radeon HD4890 - CCT middle tower K-600 - LG DVD writer GH22NS40 - CCT ATX PSU Energy 500W - Micro All-in-one 3,5" card reader - Logitech X-210 (970191-0914) - Logitech Media Keyboard - Logitech RX300 Optical mouse He needs it for 3D modeling, Photoshop and video montage. I said that, from this list, I'd choose CPU, MBO, HDD and graphic card although I prefer NVidia, but he doesn't care. I would choose Corsair over Super Talent for RAM selection, better housing, for instance a big tower from logitech, for better ventilation, dust protection, space etc. I'd also choose HX620 modular PSU from Corsair instead of that CCT. DVD writer should be replaced with Pioneer one. All of the rest is crap IMO. Since I'm not into hardware lately, but I've posted my thoughts few lines above, I'd appreciate any recommendations on this matter. NOTE: This configuration, which includes installation of Windows Vista Ultimate x86, here in Croatia, costs $2400. Can you believe it? I believe that he can get a very powerful configuration under $1400, considering abnormal prices in Croatia.
  18. I've just saw your rig LZR, and I can say that you got yourself a one nice lookin/working/smashing rig! I'm glad for you mate.
  19. Yes, my ASUS board also has an EPU chip which saves power by downlclocking my processor once the full power isn't needed.
  20. I have my quad core q6600 @ 2.66 Ghz for 2 years now. Never had feel the need to overclock it Don't burn it before you start using it
  21. Hello Digg, we're actually using IBM Tivoli Storage Manger in our company. I might need you 'cause I'm stuck in restoring files over command prompt, since GUI isn't working well once you're using point in time feature.
  22. Thank you prish, I already uploaded it as I like it. I'm also considering a background change to something darker, so the board isn't too bright.
  23. Thank you Reaper! I would also like to thank Geej, who also donated and helped.
