HI,

KB2976627 (IE11) seems to be superseded by KB3038314 and not to be requested anymore.

Tested on x64 german; deinstalled, DeepCleaned, WU: no request for it.

Thiersee

Edit:

I forgot this one:

like the "old man" KB2603229, KB3046269 is not integrable offline, see here at MDL (posts #2157 & 2158):

Hello,

Thank you for these informations.

I made a successfull integration test with KB3046269 but I didn't check if it was integrated in RunOnce or directly by Win tookit. I'll check it next time.

Unfortunately, my Internet connexion crashed down last week, and I won't be able to make any test with WU until probably 15 days when technician's hours and mine will be compatible.

So I will probably be late for next update patch...

......

I made a successfull integration test with KB3046269 but I didn't check if it was integrated in RunOnce or directly by Win tookit. I'll check it next time.

...

It is integrated by WTK as update, NOT as "Silent Installer", like KB2533552 & KB2603229.

What will be integrate is only a null holder: offline integration works, but it does not solve the problem, just like KB2603229.

I made a new topic for Lego in the bug-section.

So I will probably be late for next update patch...

I'm next week in Italy, but I can begin with the tests after I'm back (just on patch-day!) and if you still have an access to your email, I can send you the corrected lists per email.

Edit:

somehow ist the installation of KB3046269 not "clean": I didn't integrate it in my ISO and installed it after the last reboot with WPI together with all my programs.

After a reboot and a search WU asked again for it but not with the "full size", only 56Kb (normally 228Kb).

May be I must integrate it anyway and then install it after reboot too; I'll test this tonight.

KB3022345 has been released today; it should replace KB2882822 (MS-Catalog).

After installing it and deep cleaning KB2882822 has been uninstalled, but KB3045999 too.

After my holiday I'll do some integration tests.

Regards, Thiersee

@icare,

Hi rhahgleuhargh,

KB3049563 replaces KB3038314

KB3023215

KB3032655

KB3048070 replaces KB2832414, KB2861191

KB3045171 replaces KB3034344, KB2957503, KB2835361

KB3046002 replaces KB2971850

KB3051768

KB3055642

KB3061518

KB3022345 replaces KB2882822

I made already some tests, based on UL 16-04-2015 plus KB3045645/KB3020369, it means without KB2533552 (integrated/installed, no matter):

1) After update by WU on x64, KB976932  has been requested: only 9.1 MB ----> KB2533552: installing only this one the request disappears! It should mean KB2533552 is still needed or WU is buggy.

2) After Deep Clean have been uninstalled:

KB2832414

KB2835361

KB2861191

KB2882822

KB2957503

KB2835361

KB2971850

KB3034344

KB3045999 (related to KB3022345!)

and the old "friend" KB3023607!

Until now no problems on three computer (HW, x64); I'll try to continue with the test this evening.

Regards, Thiersee

@Thiersee

Do you really think kb3022345 is necessary? :questionmark:

Its a Data collecting and Tracking tool without no benefits for the user or the system. Only MS does know which Data are collected and send to Redmond.

I don't know and I don't remember, if it was under "Critical" or "Optional"

I'll have a look tonight in a VM not yet updated.

Thank you Tiersee,

I made a test with 7 Pro French and April's UL updated with your informations.

I've made the integration with NTLite (first time testing it).

I have manually installed IE11 (NTLite crashed when I added the IE11 setup)

here is my remarks about IE11:

WU installed only KB3049563 and KB3021952, therefore KB3023607 and KB2976627 seems not needed anymore.

I will try a new integration with WinToolkit, with IE11 and without KB3023607 and KB2976627 to see if it was because of NTlite's removals.

I did exactly the same thing as you did, but in my case, after update by WU KB3013531, KB3020370, KB976932  and KB3048761 (optional) shows up.

After running deepscan those were uninstalled: KB2957503, KB3023607 and KB3045999

Then I ran updates again and of course we got back KB3021953 (5.2MB) duh!

Now  I am going to add  KB3013531, KB3020370 and I'll remove KB2957503, KB3045999

I'm using Win7 SP1 Pro x64

EDIT:

Actually, first...I'm going to add  KB3013531, KB3020370 & KB3048761 only and run a test.

If you install with the UL and make a Deep Cleaning KB3023607 will be uninstalled, but after that WU requests KB3021952 (MS-logic....);

if you install without KB3023607 WU asks for KB3021952 too.

Me too..... :aggressive:

There are also reports about problems with kb3061518 (broken https request/connections, problem with IE). "good" job, MS

Hi everybody!

Here my tests-results.

First of all, for both x86 & x64: I confirm my post #560 and that KB2533552 is still requested and KB3046269 has to be installed (Silent-Installers SFX).

One difference between x86 & x64:

KB3004375 has been uninstalled on x86, but on x64 is still requested.

One change for RDP 8.1:

if hotfix KB3042839 is integrated, then KB2994023 (in the UL) is uninstalled by Deep Cleaning;

for this hotfix I do not have a direct link to .msu, only to .exe (or download with WHD).

Regards, Thiersee

P.S.: I did NOT integrate the three KBs for Win 10, I hide them after installation.

Hi everybody!

My final tests in this week-end, both for VM and real HW; all the new updates (my post #560) inserted, all the replaced updates removed:

x86 HomePremium): after Deep Cleaning (KB3023607 uninstalled) NO request for KB3021952 by WU

x64 HomePremium & x64 Professional: after Deep Cleaning (KB3023607 uninstalled) NO request for KB3021952 by WU

KB3004375 still necessary on x64, no matter which version or language, otherwise WU asks for it and KB3031432 too; a integration try without this one confirmed it.

KB3046269 must be installed under "Silent Installers", not integrated!

KB2976627 & 3023607 not needed anymore (Hi Mooms ;)).

@ rhahgleuhargh:

if you need it, I can help modifying the ULs ;).

Regards, Thiersee

About: KB2533552

I made several tests on x86 and x64 and my best solution was to integrate it as the LAST Update in RunOnce.
After deep clean / ccleaner-clean, some reboots, etc. the SP1 parts was never requested again by WU

My best solution for the moment is to hide this updates:

KB2952664, KB3021917,  KB3035583 and KB3022345 completly.

This updates are only Win10/M$-Spyware related and brings me more problems and slows down my system

You forgot KB2990214. it's W10-related too; anyway they are already in the UL as optional.
