Thiersee
Not 100% thru, sorry! You should follow a sequence for some RDP-related updates:KB2994023: requires 2830477 installedKB2984976: requires KB2894972 and KB2592687 installed If the requirements are positioned after KB2994023 / KB2984976 WTK marks them with a black cross in a first step and then, at the end of ALL the updates retry to integrate them: this happens without issues. The best is to put ALL the RDP updates from the UL at the beginning. Thiersee
dareckibmw
Hi rhahgleuhargh, just an info for you before you publish the ULs: KB2949927 replaces not only KB2847077 but KB2862966 tooKB2984972 replaces not only KB2861855 but KB2932378 tooThiersee Funny thing, as I ran few more tests and now KB2862966 shows up on WU! so I integrated it, ran another test and .....nothing on WU! Alpha_95
retour x64, maj demandé par MU: KB2862966KB890830 (10-2014 pas a jour normal ^^)KB15597 (Def 1.185.3248.0) 2014-10-16_23-08-PM.ini
rhahgleuhargh
@dareckibmwthx for return. KB2862966 wasn't asked yesterday during my test in VM x64 (all updates integrated, even RDP). I'll have a look this evening. Maybe it's due to the pb you reported with KB2949927 ? if this update has been deleted by MS, it would be normal. If confirmed, I'll put back KB2862966 in ULs.@Alpha_95Merci pour le test. Good to know ; I saw it for IE 11 installer and updates, not for RDP ! Edited October 17, 2014 by rhahgleuhargh
Thiersee
What for a mess is doing MS this month :ranting: ?On ALL x64-installations I did on wednesday and yesterday WU asks again for KB2862966,on ALL x86-Installations I did on wednesday and yesterday WU asks again for KB2732500!It means back in the UL.... And I see just now KB2949927 has been taken completely from MS-Update-Catalog.... Thiersee Edited October 17, 2014 by Thiersee
rhahgleuhargh
Yes, it sounds like the damned august patch...KB2949927 seems to induce a bug (impossible to boot) if Bitlocker is disabled.Deleting KB2949927 needs KB2862966, and KB2732500 (x86) to get back, but probably KB2718704 and KB2847077 too. :ranting: :rtfm: I'll make tests this evening (unfortunately I deleted my x86 VM, I need a complete integration). For the next time, I'll wait one week before publishing ULs. Thiersee
I'm starting tests on both x64 and x86, deleting KB2949927, putting again KB2862966 (x64) and KB2732500 (x86) to see, if the other too are asked by WU again.I'll report in a couple of hours. Thiersee Edit for x64: WU asked for: KB2847077, KB2718704 and KB2732500 (x64???). Because I deleted KB2857650 (RDP-Prerequisite, on WHD was not listed as necessary anymore) WU asked for KB2830477 (probably only a small component of, it was only 984 KB big). For x86 later... Edit for x86: WU asked for: KB2847077, KB271870 For the next time, I'll wait one week before publishing ULs.Good idea! rhahgleuhargh
Edit for x86: WU asked for: KB2847077, KB271870thx for your test. You mean KB2718704 for x86 ? No need of KB2862966 in x86 VM ?NB : KB27332500 was not removed in x86 list, only in x64. Edited October 17, 2014 by rhahgleuhargh
Thiersee
....You mean KB2718704 for x86 ? No need of KB2862966 in x86 VM ?....... Of course KB2718704 (sh... I need new glasses)!I just saw, I integrated KB2862966....
Thiersee
Two small corrections for Italian and German: IT <!-- File di installazione italiani -->DE <!-- Deutsche Installationsdateien --> They sounds better (in German means "Installateur" artisan or craftsman). dareckibmw
So, since KB2949927 is no longer available on WU or/and M$ catalog, I got rid of it and added back KB2847077 & KB2862966 then ran a test in vmware...after a clean install, WU asked for KB2718704 & KB2732500...I added them and ran another test, finally nothings shows up on WU and nothing superseeded after DeepClean scan. What a mess this month, right? All done with win7 pro sp1 x64

rhahgleuhargh
