each hotfix enu which is ok in other languages, always need to remove the "ENU" in the end, or rename KBXXXX_ENU.exe in KBXXXX_FRA.exe, in this case the file will need to be Windows2000-XP-2003-KB950305-v2-x86-FRA.exe

instead about langpack.exe and everything ok, not been processed because this was not the dotnet1.1. True AddOn, need to download all true dotnet addon

OnePiece Microsoft.NET Framework v1.1.4322.2497 True AddOn ENU - OnePiece Microsoft.NET Framework v3.5.30729.3678.3 True AddOn ENU

OnePiece Microsoft.NET Framework v4.0.30319.282 True AddOn ENU

and after removing the ENU in the end of the name of the addon, example

fraup.png

sorry for my English, when will enter Nonno Fabio online explain all the most well

Ciao.

Rename WindowsXP-KB971276-v3-x86-ENU.exe in WindowsXP-KB971276-v3-x86-SVE.exe or WindowsXP-KB971276-v3-x86.exe

install_flash_player_ax.exe not need, You only need the OnePiece_Adobe_Flash_Player_v%Lastversion%_True_AddOn.cab

Ciao.

Hello,

My plan is to build a French OnePiece Windows XP Post-SP3 UpdatePack. I collected all the hotfix installers and additional components listed in Onepiece's AIO UpdatePack topics for XP (6.2.0).

I encounter the following issue with KB961742-v3. Files:

"rdpinit.exe, rdpinit.mui, rdpshell.exe, rdpshell.mui, rspndr.adm, rspndr.inf, sdbus.inf, tsallow.mof, tspubwmi.dll, wlnotifi.dll"

are copied into the OnePiece PRO folder and when I created my Windows installation with RyanVM Integrator these files disappear. The installation doesn't work.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Hi blancfam, how to disappear ? who is the error during installation? I remember during the integration always need a cd Clean (not a cd where the already integrated before other addon or UpdatePack)

however UpdatePack in entries.ini uses [ExtraFileEdits] section to update tsoc.inf, verify that the file tsoc.inf after integration and so tsoc.inf

use 7-zip or cabtool or other to extract the tsoc.in_ in tsoc.inf

Ciao.

Hi OnePiece,

I started from a clean French CD with only SP3 slipstreamed.

When I use the ENU OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack (v6.2.0), the files :

"rdpinit.exe, rdpinit.mui, rdpshell.exe, rdpshell.mui, rspndr.adm, rspndr.inf, sdbus.inf, tsallow.mof, tspubwmi.dll, wlnotifi.dll"

are in the i386 folder. The install works but, of course, I have a mix of french and english.

When I use my own FRA OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack (v6.2.0 again), these files are not in the i386 folder. The install is not completed and most of the addons are not installed.

The file setupapi.log mentions : #-175 SPFILENOTIFY_COPYERROR: Source = "I:\i386\wlnotifi.dll", Cible = "C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogonnotification.dll"...

Many thanks in advance for your answer.

Ciao

Hi blancfam, why use ENU file? http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=8690 update pack has to be integrated only once

is not supported to integrate the UpdatePack ENU and after integrating still the UpdatePack FRA (in entries.ini sections [EditFile] & [TXTSETUP_SDFx86] & [ExtraFileEdits] if they integrate twice in the same WinXP_CD create problems after)

Ciao.

I think what blancfam is saying is that he obviously has done something wrong when he tried to build his FRA OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack. He is comparing the results of building with the FRA version vs building with ENU OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack, in separate attempts, only one of them is used in each build. He thought he had built his FRA version the same way as the ENU version, but something messed up since the ENU version works and the FRA version has files missing from the i386 folder and most of the addons are not installed. He's hoping the error message from the setupapi.log will give you a clue as to what he might have missed. Is there another log file that is created during the build process that might help you identify the problem? Or could he upload his FRA UpdatePack for you to take a look at? Any other suggestions that might help him out?

Cheers and Regards

Yes, you are right bphlpt,

I made two install CD's, one with the ENU OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack and the other one with a FRA OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack I built with DXUPAC, in order to compare results because my FRA build doesn't work properly during the Windows install. The setupapi.log and the setupact.log are produced during the Windows graphical installation phase. As already mentionned the setupapi.log contains :

#-175 SPFILENOTIFY_COPYERROR: Source = "I:\i386\wlnotifi.dll", Cible = "C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogonnotification.dll"...

and the setupact.log contains :

I:\i386\wlnotifi.dll n'a pas pu être copié vers C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogonnotification.dll. Le code d'erreur spécifique est 0x4c7.

in French, I am sorry.

The only differences I have between both CD's are the already mentionned files present or not in the i386 folder. I also noticed that theses files are in the "root" of the ENU OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack and in the PRO folder of my FRA OnePiece Windows XP UpdatePack.

I hope these explanations will help you to understand the origin of the issue.

Many thanks in advance.

thanks again for all reports

i do not understand because nLite & RVMi will automatically know the folder Home and PRO, possible causes are that you are working in the HOME edition, and KB961742-v3.exe is to copy files only in the Pro version (KB961742-v3\sp3qfe\ip\* hmmmm, now I do not even remember why I decided to leave the KB961742-v3 also integrate HOME Edition, there a bit of confusion hmmmmmmmmmm, that's only for PRO Edition hmmmm) try to manually move those files Pro folder in the root folder

Hi OnePiece,

try to manually move those files Pro folder in the root folder

I moved the files from the PRO folder to the root of my FRA updatePack as you proposed and now this part of the windows install works fine. Thank you.

Now I have an other issue at the far end of netfx11 install or at the early begining of netfx20 during the windows install from the CD. Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is installed but not .NET 2.0 and subsequently. I have a strange message in the setupapi.log file :

#-167 SPFILENOTIFY_NEEDMEDIA : Label = "", Description = "Windows XP Professional CD2", Chemin source = "I:\i386", Fichier source = "Admin.fr.chm", Indicateurs = 0x00000000.

#E169 SPFILENOTIFY_NEEDMEDIA : renvoi de FILEOP_ABORT. Erreur 1223: L'opération a été annulée par l'utilisateur.

#W187 L'installation a échoué. La restauration des fichiers originaux est tentée.

Contrary to what is stated in the message, I have not canceled the operation and I am installing a Microsoft Windows XP Home edition.

Please could you tell me the investigations that I could begin, to understand the origin of this error.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Ciao

Hello, I have trouble understanding how to create a OnePiece XP Post-SP3 AIO Update Pack. I have made so many attempts to get a Swedish update pack without any functional results.

Would it be too much to ask if anyone wants to make an instructional film. I have downloaded the latest DX's Universal Update Pack / Addon Creator but I fail anyway.

Please help me. I have written before, but I can not for the firm for instructions. Am sure I have missed something rose from zero.

Excuse me. I thank you for all the help I can get from you in the forum.
Thanks in advance

This XP post-SP3 All-in-One QFE/LDR Update Pack differs from RyanVM's/user_hidden's one as it includes by default more stuff like IE8, DX updates, all .NETs and WMP11 for an easier integration, along with official and nearly all request-only hotfixes (RyanVM's Update Pack is more selective with request-only hotfixes, which is fine): all in a few MBs and integrated in native "true" mode.

Onepiece's XP Update Pack can be used along with Nlite from v1.4.9.1 or RVM Integrator from v1.6.1 b2.1 on a clean (untouched) XP SP3 ENU source.

From v3.5.1 XP post-SP3 AIO UpdatePack can be integrated in a XP MCE 2005 SP3 source.
Please don't ask for inclusions or exclusions: if you like a different configuration use one of the existing vanilla XP UpdatePacks with your preferred addons and you'll get your own XP disc without the need to remove anything.
However if you don't like all the additional stuff included in OnePiece's XP Update Pack, you can easily uninstall some of them from Windows Components Wizard after windows setup.
Then you can use a Run window to totally delete the components from your live system, typing this command:
      rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection OPMWXPUP.inf,%OptionalComponentsNAME%.CleanUp
Other supported switches are HIDE (removes the component from Windows Component Wizard list) and SHOW (shows the component in Windows Component Wizard list):

Alternatively, you can also disable their installation listing the one you don't like to install (but not .net 2.0!) in a Winnt.sif file (see also here), under [components] section, with an "= off" by their side. For example, if you want to disable installation of Windows Desktop Search you will add this string:

[Components]...WDSearch = off... All the Winnt.sif optional components codes are shown below. List only those you want to disable!

NB *"REMOVE" addons are RVMIntegrator-only!! the entries.ini removal values are not supported by Nlite.
** Please note also that, due to a RVMi limitation, Removal Addons could break XP setup if integrated in the source at once in the same RVMi session: you must run your regular integration with Nlite or RVMi then, before making the .iso, one or more additional sessions of RVMi to finish off your source with the desired removal addon.
***OnePiece_Remove_Windows_Management_Framework_Core_AddOn.cab removes all single WinMFC components. So if you use it, you don't need to add:
      OnePiece_Remove_WinMFC(PowerShellv2)_AddOn.cab
      OnePiece_Remove_WinMFC(PowerShellISE)_AddOn.cab
      OnePiece_Remove_WinMFC(WinRM)_AddOn.cab
      to your integration list

Let's recap! the right order is:
Run RVMi and integrate Update Pack - rerun RVMi and integrate first Removal addon - rerun RVMi and integrate second Removal addon - ... - rerun RVMi and integrate last Removal addon - rerun RVMi and integrate your preferred SW - make the .iso.

Integration side effects (not UpdatePack bugs): setuperr.log will point out harmless error messages about some IE files like imgutil.dll, inetcpl.cpl, inseng.dll, mshtml.dll, msrating.dll, pngfilt.dll, occache.dll, webcheck.dll (caused by the patched Syssetup.dll used for integration and then restored with the original one). If you don't tolerate it you can integrate in addition Onepiece Repair IE8 cosmetic problems addon which does nothing else than cleaning those false errors in your setuperr.log file. Please note that in some rare configurations the integration of this "repair" addon could cause issues, so we don't suggest to use it. OnePiece Repair IE8 Cosmetic Problems AddOn

There's an incompatibility of new msi installer official release KB981669 with a single app of Windows Live suite, Photogallery. Microsoft hasn't fixed it yet so if you need that specific app you must revert to very old KB967756 using this addon by 5eraph.
If you don't want to loose the new version, there's also a temporary workaround for working systems that allows you to install Photogallery in an updated XP What's inside Onepiece's XP Update Pack: Hotfixes List

To update the included Adobe Flash Player ActiveX use Create OnePiece Adobe Flash Player True AddOn and integrate the resulting OnePiece_Adobe_Flash_Player_v%Version%_True_AddOn.cab after UpdatePack.
As an example this is v20.0.0.228 True AddOn just created with Create OnePiece Adobe Flash Player True AddOn

Made with DXUPAC! only DotNet LangPacks are not included (as they're useless) but if you want them too, integrate OnePiece_NetFxLangPack_SvcPack_AddOn_%Lang%.cab (download it from one of Onepiece's Files Repositories) after UpdatePack.

All credits are in entries.ini file: however many, many thanks especially to RyanVM, Nuhi, Siginet and Xable.
