Win Toolkit

Hi I would like to create a generic AutoUnattend.xml that will always place the UserProfile and Progradata folders on the first physical disk (disk 0) at the second partion (partition 1) inside folders named users and programdata. If I use the drive letter like: <ProfilesDirectory>D:\Users</ProfilesDirectory> it will work on some of the computers that only have one phisical disks, but on other cpmputers the second partition of the first disk is E:\ or f:\ not always D:\. What I need is a generic path name to "disk 0 \ patition 1\ <folder name>" Is this possible?? Many thanks

If u select TEMP and Mount folder to the same disk - its ok If u select TEMP and Mount folders to the different disks and those disks are not refer to the disk with source OS distibutive - then W7T will shut down at the begining of integration proccess: D: - source OS distibutive ( 700GB free) F: - just an HDD (1.7TB free) G: - RAM disk (8GB free) IF THEN XD P.S. in my case if i select mount folder to G: disk and temp folder to the F: disk - its ok. programm crash only as shown on screenshot. P.P.S. Fixed by setting F:\temp\MOUNT

i have no idea how to do Wim Registry Editor at all try 2 nothing at all adding tweaks 25 of them Hkey Local Machine Hkey current user Hkey users Hkey class Root i dont understand at all which ones Default User Registry settings for the default user Software HKLM\Software Windows\System32\config\software System HKLM\System Windows\System32\config\system Administration Registry for Administration account Components unknown Sam HKLM\sam windows\system32\config\sam which ones when selected load hives load all and import reg says invalied item please select 1! which ones does it matter i dont understand at all please help!!!!!!

I am still a newbie and learning this tool and I don't really see some of the addons I'm looking for so I am interested in trying this to create my "base" addons that I will use in all my installs. Shockwave Flash Acrobat Reader Java K-Lite Codec Packs MalwareBytes Maybe a few others Will the addon maker work for these or are their other tools/solutions? ***When you hit HELP in the addon maker it gives you some info about CrapCleaner***

Hi everyone! Lovely program by the way Lego. To the point: im having serious problems getting registytweaks to work. By that i mean the tweaks i made myself to the registry then exported to .reg files. When trying to integrate thease with both with the registry part of All-In-One Tool and WIN Registry Editor they just won´t apply (stays at windows default). Please help me! To me this is by far the hottest feature in W7T if i could just get it to work! Thanks

Can the toolkit be used on an Acer Win7 OEM install disks? I'll assume it will be a recovery partition on the HD that I may burn to DVD... Or best to use an after-install tweaker to min OS CPU usage (Celeron B815) Thanks for your time!

Hi all, I'm new to W7T and I would like to create an unattended multi-edition ISO with added hotfixes, drivers; tweaks and some components removed. I'm wondering how and when to remove components using the standalone (not AIO as it offers less choices) component remover....before or after running the All-In-One Tool? Also, when using the standalone component remover I cannot choose multiple editions simultaneously. Does this mean that I have to remove the components on all 4 editions separately (mount HomeBasic, HomePremium, Pro and Ultimate one after the other and remove stuff over and over again)? I integrated, with W7T last version, all video driver from driverpack: Grafic A, Grafic B and Grafic Mobile. When install windows, video driver not instaled. In Device Manager show me "Standard VGA Driver". Everything is instaled: Audio, Card Reader, Wireless, etc. After that I instaled video driver manually from Grafic Mobile and works very well. Why video driver not install? Maybe W7T not integrate driver? How can see I if driver video is integrated in Windows? My laptop is MSI EX700 with Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS.

I ran the tool on a partition different than C:\ and I have as a system w7 64bit . What I did was downloading the AIO , decompress and running into the folder where I extracted it. I'm using an image of window 7 64bit sp1 . I chosed to remove many things which use lot of space (natural language, slim down winsxs). I tested on a vm and the installed size (with no hibernation/swap) changed from 7.7gb to 6.8gb. So although it changed, it was supposed to be even slimmer. So I'd like to know if the tool need waik (and which version?) to remove effectively the listed components and if I need to run the application from a particular folder/partition.

I'd like to remove support for the east-asian languages (chinese, korean, japanese) to reduce the installation size, but I couldn't find any option to do that with the application. So I'm wondering if I'm missing something or the option is not present at all

im use w7toolkit 1.3.0.84 to deployment windows 64 bit but pop up appear at 2 point: 1) must enter language to install , time current format ,keyboard input method 2) pop -up '' browser for folder '' appear when begin install applications (please image attachment) i tried to do 3 time but same problem ? any suggession? thanks advance.

Hi I"m using the great Toolkit to integrate drivers into Windows 7 installation DVD. On most of the computers it works great, but with one of my laptops - Dell Insperion, I end up with Intel Graphic HD 3000 drivers not functioning with error code 12 that says the graphic adapter cannot find free resources. I called Del support and they told me that I must install the graphic drivers before I install the USB3 drivers or else the USB3 will take the resources of the graphic drivers. It was correct. If I manually Install the the drivers at the following order: 1) chipset, 2) Graphics 3) USB3 all works OK w/o the code 12 error. But when integrating drivers, it seems that Windo…

I have programm silent installation of Office 2007 and want to integrate it with the version in a way W7TRunOnce to do it before entering a silent installation for Windows .

Yesterday i was shock, when i download some office updates to desktop and i use W7T to extract msp files, i didn't touched anything i just added updates (*.exe) and put extraction path to desktop and i click on start, and i get preaty clean desktop without any user icon or file, just stay some folders and system icons. After madness, i figure out that when i put office updates in some folder i and i set some other empty folder i get both folders blank, no source updates no destination updates. It's just me or its bug ? btw i successfully get my desktop back thanks to shadow copy of windows

hi every one after i make anew copy of windows 7 home premium sp1 x64 by windows 7 toolkit 1.3.0.84b and installed some programs like windows live essentials 2011 said that i must install Net framework 3!! :1: can you belive that? net framework 3 for windows 7!! and its loke like too slower than usually sorry for my english :doh:

Label in the option tool Wim Manager to start the Mount option does not create the folder. Instead of creating removes the folder. Soon not I mount the folder. Version W7T130-29A does not mount, not yet tested the RunOnceEx. Thanks.. :type:
