[12 novembre 2019] Update list GDR pour Windows 7 SP1 x86/x64 (Fr-En-De-Es-It)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Yes I saw it but link is not available actually. This update is optional (think I will place it in the list).

.......

A user has posted here (My Digital Life Forum, post #9846) the links (be carefully, there is a space before the name!):

x86 : download.windowsupdate.com/c/msdownload/update/software/updt/2015/03/ windows6.1-kb3035583-x86_457fc816e5855c206303bfe9ed14240eb701e5d2.msu

thx Thiersee !

I'll add this KB to the list because it seems to add some functions like Windows 10 DL (see here).

Yesterday KB2952664-v9 has been requested againby WU; release date on MS-Catalog 07.04.2015.

May be it's a corrected (minor) version....

BTW: KB3035583 should go into the optional category: not all people want to be "advised" by MS when W10 is ready!

I've hidden this update.

Hello Thiersee,

I've updated the links for KB2952664 yesterday but prefered wait for the next update patch for the upload of ULs. It was not asked by WU in my case, but binaries have been updated.

I completely agree with you for KB3035583, now we have enough informations about it, and it has no more place in "updates" category. Optional update category seems to be better.

Assuming one has a Windows 7 system that they don't want Microsoft trying to "upgrade" to WIndows 10 via Windows Update, it seems that they don't need to install KB2952664, KB2990214, KB3021917, and KB3035583.

Cheers and Regards

Hello,

Thanks for these infos.

I'll modify ULs tomorrow after the patch tuesday, and put KBs you mentioned in optional updates (ie KB2952664, KB3021917, and KB3035583) !

Hello,

I desinstalled these KBs on my VM, but now M$ mark some of them as "important" (KB3035583 and KB3021917, KB2952664 for x86).

I'll make a new test with new updates on a new machine, result later !

EDIT : Changelog du mois identique x86/x64 :

IE 11 : KB3038314 remplace KB3032359

Updates : .net FW 3.5.1 KB3037574

KB3042553

KB3045685

KB3045999 remplace KB3046049 KB2922229 (x64) et KB2872339 (x64)

KB3046269

KB3046306

KB3046482 remplace KB2993958

KB2990214 (Windows 10 Preview for those who have installed KB2952664, KB3021917, and KB3035583)

Nettoyage Deep-clean : KB2993651

I think it is an effect of removing KB3046049!

I made a DeepClean on a real Hardware, where KB3046049 was installed: this KB has been uninstalled, but after tha WU asked for KB3021952 (only 5.2 MB).

The same sh.t like after last patch-day!

Can't reproduce above (no KB3021952 in VIrtual Machine). Findings so far:

KB3038314  replaces KB3032359 (MS Catalog, KB)

KB3045999  replaces KB2872339, KB2922229, KB3046049 (MS Catalog)

KB3046482  replaces KB2993958 (MS Catalog, KB)

???               replaces KB2993651 (no documentation, WUC reports as superseded)

Updates :

KB2990214

KB2990214

This is the Windows 10 Technical Preview itself !!!

Re KB3035583, KB3021917 and KB2952664, these still showed up as optional for me, as did KB2990214, and I have chosen to simply hide them.  Regardless of how MS classifies them, they are not needed.

Cheers and Regards

@bphlpt,

OOps, missed that KB2990214 was Windows 10 (I haven't hide the other KBs on my real machine). Previous post edited.

In my case, some of these KB were asked as important updates, but I uninstalled them just before reboot. I need to try an integration without them.

Correction has been done for optional KBs in ULs, I just need to copy the new links and make tests in a brand new VM.

KB2990214 (Windows 10 Preview for those who have installed KB2952664, KB3021917, and KB3035583)

I was offered KB2990214 as an optional update even though I had not installed KB2952664, KB3021917, and KB3035583. [They were also offered as optional at the same time.]  I declined and hid them all. :)

I usually wait until a week or two after "patch Tuesday" to install any updates at all.  In the meantime, I read your thread here, and others here at WinCert and at MSFN, to see what you and others have discovered regarding MS's latest antics.  Thank you very much for your hard work in investigating the updates and their interactions.

By the way, like Alpha_95, I am also offered KB3037581.

Also, I have been avoiding updating Skype for Windows desktop 7.0. (An update for it was "optional" up until yesterday)  Now, I'm being offered KB2876229 and now they are calling it "important".  I'm not sure why it's importance has changed.  Since I don't use Skype, I haven't decided whether I will update it or not.

Cheers and Regards

@Alpha_95,

@bphlpt,

You have a great idea to wait one week for installing updates. I should to this for the next time (since last WU bugs I'm waiting a few days to upload updated ULs).

Hello,

Hi,

I finished today for tests (1x x86, 3x x64) in VM; I did hide the updates for Win10 (but not KB2952664) and I didn't got any request by WU.

After a DeepClean, it requested again KB3021952.

Before I forget it:

I used the UL from 27 march, deleted the superseded and added the new KBs.

@Thiersee,

Did you hide Win 10 required updates before integration, or did you hide them manually with a right clic in WU window ? If yes, how ?

I have the same result for x64 test. IE 11 KB3021952 5.2 MB still asked after installation. But we can remove KB3032359.

Manuall, after integration.

I didn't integrate KB3032359 at all.

At the moment no test on real HW, my 2nd PC is ready to delivery to my brother in Italy; I've to buy now a new motherbiard...

@tous,

@non-french users,

Updated ULs uploaded. Some updates have been placed in "Additional Updates" folder (5 prerequites for Windows 10 migration), but they are still marked by WU as important : you'll have to hide them manually if you don't want them. A part of IE 11 KB3021952 (5.2 MB in x64 configuration) is asked by WU after first reboot, I have no solution for this.

Do you get KB3021952 request before or after a deep cleaning?
