icare
Thiersee
1) Just a small cosmetic bug (name of uncompressed UL): x64: 2015-01-15-Win7-Post-SP1 GDR-x64-MULTI.ulzx86: Win7-Post-SP1 GDR-x86-MULTI.ulz 2) theoretically belongs KB3003743 (now under category 1) to RDP too, but I don't know (and I didn't test it), if WU requests it even if "only" RDP 7.0 (standard) is activated. icare
rhahgleuhargh
@Thiersee,1- Cosmetic bug corrected.2- KB3003743, is asked by WU even if RDP 8.1 is not integrated, that's why I left it in Updates category. For my tests I keep all default settings for Windows 7 installation, so RDP 7.0 is activated.@icare,Post édité et corrigé. Thiersee Yes, that's correct. Also note KB3021952 (IE11 Cumalative update) supersedes KB3008923 but also is not cleaned up by deepclean. I uninstalled KB3023266 and KB3008923 on VM & "live" system, installed KB3021952 & KB3031432 thru WU, re-checked WU came back "clean" (no updates to install). KB3008483 is incorrect # s/b KB3000483... KB3000483 is installed in "bundle" update with KB3004375 (or vice-versa?)...http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3000483How do I get this update? The functionality discussed in this advisory can be obtained by installing the 3004375 update directly (see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 3004375). Note that the update is also bundled with the updates being released in MS15-011 (see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 3000483) and MS15-015 (see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 3031432). Either update will install the 3004375 update automatically. HTH Edited February 11, 2015 by Pink_Freud

rhahgleuhargh
@Pink_Freud,sorry, you just posted a few seconds before I did !Thanks for reporting !For deep-clean, logs only include KB not related to IE. This is the reason why it's difficult to see if the cumulative update really replaces the previous ones. rhahgleuhargh
thanks guys for all these infos. So, for IE 11, only KB3021592 and KB3023607 seem to be needed. I'm just testing a fresh install in VM to check if previous IE 11 updates are needed or not (KB2976627 for ex).

I'm anxious for your result, I may try something similar I was wondering the same about KB2976627... last time I left it out WU asked for it although it was (allegedly) superseded (in succession) by KB2977629 - KB2987107 - KB3003057 - KB3008923 - KB3021952 Edited February 11, 2015 by Pink_Freud
rhahgleuhargh
@Pink_Freud,KB2976627 is still needed. From WU catalog, I confirm that KB3021592 and KB3023607 are both needed before KB3034196. So 4 updates are needed for IE 11.Now the ULs are ready, I think I'll publish them tomorrow after a x64 test.
