Hi, I plane preparing an Unatended Windows 7 64-bits and my using machine run Windows 32-bits. It is possible to prepare an Unatended Windows 64-bits on a machine using Windows 32-bits? Or, the using machine must run Windows 64-bits too? Regards

Hi, does anybody know of a way (in Windows 7) to lock/pin the desktop icons in place once you have arranged them? My desktop isn't exactly cluttered, I think, there are at any given moment some 45-50. For the sake of easy navigation I try to keep the number to a minimum. When I have moved the icons around so that they are grouped into categories (roughly) and have their fixed places, it's easy to find what I'm looking for, and one gets used to it, like the layout of ones apartment for example. Hello, I would like to set up a small network of two PC's I have, both running windows 7 Ultimate 32. I already have a (D-link) router so I can use them both now, one at a time, by use of a hardware-switch for the common monitor and by switching keyboard and mouse. Hi I have posted this question in a few other forums and while I have been given a few leads, I still have not been able to resolve the problem. I have made a universal image of Windows 7 32, sealing/audit the pc is fine, when the image is deployed on a machine and sysprep starts it takes 30-40 minutes to finish (aka before I see the login screen) My universal image of Windows 7 64 bit finish in 10-15 minutes. The drivers database on both images are 3 gigs. I have no idea why the 32 bit is taking so long to finish, the sysprep process.
