Hi I've installed Win7 32bit SP1. Everything was working fine including Auto updates but since yesterday I cannot run Auto updates anymore. I get a message that "Some settings are managed by your system Administrator.." I am the system Admin. I've checked Group policies and under Windows updates everything are set to default "not configured". Also ran Automatic updates troubleshooter and it found an error with the automatic updates component, "fixed" it for me' but the problem remains the same. I also tried loging using the Administrator account instead of my default user, same issue.. My copy is Genuine of course, and I am running the latest Avira antivirus plus Zonealar…

Go to: http://www.thelongclimb.com/ and scroll down to the listing as shown above and double click. The page that opens will provide you with the necessary steps to merge things so that you have one DVD that contains a single install.wim file for both Win7 32-bit and 64-bit installations.

Hello, my question is: I have a iso of Windows 7 which contains Sp1 from the starter to the ultimate version of 64-bit, all versions of Windows 7 on a single iso (DVD single). I want to integrate internet explorer 9, to download this program here on the forum: W7toolkit and the Windows AIK. I have all you need and how to integrate the internet explorer cabs. My question is: to have multiple versions of Windows 7 in the installation, it is necessary to integrate the internet explorer 9 on all of them? or just to integrate it into the ultimate version is propagated to the other versions? thanks. for those who do not understand me, the image is Windows 7 All in One

Hi guys I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit When I open my Video folder , my CPU usage goes to 99-100%. Task manager indicates Explorer.exe is the process using 99% of this. It remans 99-100% until I close explorer.exe and after I restart. I don't know why Exporer.exe would suddenly start using all my system resources when I open a video folder. :confused02: After I read maybe the problem is FLV video... Any ideas?

My Windows 32-bit has the full i had {3gb) showing know i have 8 GB RAM showing in the bios and in windows and they are Active in the Internet often haunts the statement a 32-bit operating system can technically only managed a maximum of 4 GB of RAM. This is wrong and Microsoft is even evidence itself The kernel of the 32-bit version of Windows 7 has only a lock, which prevents access to more memory. More dramatically is this lock in the 32-bit version in the 32-bit version of Windows 7 from 4 GB usually only 3.25 -3.5 GB of RAM are usable: In general many people believe this "not usable" RAM is occupied by the graphic card RAM: The Russian Programmers Group "staforce" ha…

Greetings. I have this perfect Autounattend.xml file that I use with a Win7 Ultimate 32 bits installation files. Now I would like to try to use Home Premium, and when I try to use the same Autounattend.xml from Ultimate, Windows SIM offers me to convert it to use it with the new install.wim (wich was previously rebuilt with Home Premium only). And everything checks ok within Windows SIM, but when I try to install Windows, a screen tells me that "There are not images available" where I originally pick the Win version I want to install. I've tried many things, to no avail. Here's my Autounattend.xml: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <unattend xmlns="urn:sc…

My experience with Windows 7 Service Pack 1 were not so good so far, but I'm guessing that this issues are related to Thinkpad T500 drivers rather than the Service Pack itself. I have reinstalled Windows 7 SP1 x64from .iso image that I got from Technet. First issues were that once I opened the lid and my PC came out of standby I couldn't get brightness on the screen, fingerprint software wasn't working at al etc. I have then reinstalled once again and used only Windows Update drivers. After that I've only installed needed device drivers from IBM along with Locations and Power Management applications using Lenovo System Update. Everything was OK until laptop screen went bl…

I have been having issues with programs launching and even moving when left open all day on the right side of my screen. Uploaded with ImageShack.us This didn't start until I got a larger monitor. In the picture is what is happening. I set certain things to open up in different parts of my screen. If I logout/restart the program will end up shifting over to the right. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks

Greetings. I can't find any answer to this question. Probably I'm missing a command. The size of "install.wim" always increase after I mount it with DISM and then unmount it including the command "/commit", but what I cannot understand is the reason of that change in size since I make very small changes (like creating a shortcut), it is not like I'm copying big files to the image. The last increase went from 2.79 GB to 2.80 GB when I TOOK OUT files from the image. Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
