1.7.1.70 link downloads uniextract172.exe which has a different hash. I did not see any mention of this update. Any info on this?

Installshield /b option worked fine to extract the MSI from the EXE

Weird. I got a ''The setup command is invalid'' kind of error with /b via run with parameters. I also tried via cmd prompt. Are you sure you've tried the second link? Killer™ e2200, Wireless-N 1102, 1103 and 1202 32Bit (Version # 1.0.35.1273) for example. Probably I'm doing something wrong

Try running the installer (on a computer that has the hardware it supports) and look in [CommonAppDataFolder]Downloaded Installations\1.0.35.1273

 

BTW Updated 1.7.7.87a

Unfortunately I don't have a compatible device. It was for my drivers database. No biggie, hopefully the next installer will be more flexible...

As a big fan of Universal Extractor who has been just updating the bin directory with the latest Inno, upx and 7zip files, I decided to download the latest version 1.7.8.90 from the link in the first post.  Before installing, I extracted the setup file with my old version of U.E and uploaded the main Uniextract.exe v v1.7.8.90 file to Virustotal.  It had a malware/trojan score of 8/46:
