[Rebuilt] .NET Framework 4.5.2 Full x86/x64 (9-19-2014)

Recommended Posts

Added ALL language packs and updated all the previous requested ones to solve a bug that prevented the installations of multiple LP's on the same system

Also max LZX:21 compression of the MZZ/CAB that should save 30+ MB disk space

Added INTL version. Includes and atomatically detects your system language, then it installs correct Language Pack

For info on how to force install LP's visit http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee942965.aspx#command_line_options

Note: You can ignore the part about the LCID switch only working on Web install package

Ricktendo, does your rebuilt installer

'install .net45 and then execute the hotfix updates individually packed in the installer'

... or ...

have the updated files' replaced the 'original files' so that installation is done just once.

#2. The updates are integrated, the netfx_Full.mzz is rebuilt with the updated files and better compressed

You are assuming this because of the larger filesize?

The larger filesize is due to the better compressed MZZ/CAB, results in a larger installer but it saves disk space

BTW Updated:

5-14-2013

Add: 2805221, 2805226

Rem: 2750147, 2789648

Renamed installer

No, just wanna save installation time. Thanks

Also, you have a FULL and SLIM version.

SLIM which claims to have removed "unnecessary setup junk"

If you call it unnecessary, why would anyone want to have the full version? Shouldn't it be natural to just release a SLIM version? What specifically has been removed which you've termed unnecessary. (In the sense, why provide a choice when everyone should just get the slim)

Both are Slim and Repack are "Full", only difference is the slim has the setup files stripped (I use 7zip sfx as install gui instead) so you don't have the full .net installer saved on your hdd

I provide the non slim for those who wish to have all updates and wish to stay true to the original installer, while at the same time also saving space and install time

You save space with both, even the LP's

Info: The .NET package will be slipstreamed as pre-installed
      OS: Windows 7 SP1
      Notes:
      - The addon will conflict with some Windows Updates (.NET 3.5 Family), so leave the addon's integration to the last.
      - Add main addon first before LangPack addon, to get ASP.NET service localization properly.
      - To function properly, .NET 4.7.x require D3DCompiler_47.dll component, which is found in either the current "Monthly Quality Rollup" or "update KB4019990". It is recommended to integrate it first, or you can install it later.
