camisole
Unikat2000
@rhahgleuhargh I'm using your your update list for nearly two years now with NTLite and I had never big issues with it. As far as I know NTLite is sorting the updates automatically for integration. For example KB2533552 is put directly in the run-once section. This month there seems to be an issue with KB4095874 which makes WU asking for KB3122648 & KB2973112. Last month there were no problems... rhahgleuhargh
@Unikat2000 Thank you for the info. I have not used NTLite since monthes, and it's good to know that things have avanced (it's a pretty good program too even if I prefer to use WTK). Concerning old and superseeded updates asked by WU after Patch Tuesday, just be patient, usually things go to normal way after a few days : I don't know if the database needs to be updated or if it's just a bug. I suggest you to hide the requested old updates, and retest later. But if they are installed when you turn off your computer it's not a big problem. I spent the last four days with different VMs and WTK versions: nothing to do, those damned 4 updates are still requested by WU , if I use the actual UL. Only with the UL 12-12-2017 I can install without request by WU; I need this UL for my old laptop (with AMD Turion X2) to work with my SIMATIC control unit at home. Does it have QualityCompat registry key? because it's still needed by WU to complete the supersedence chain for rollups
Thiersee
@abbodi1406 Yes, I do! Without it I would get additionally 2 requests for old NET-FW updates: have a look at my post on page 94.
abbodi1406
I see did you installed KB4099950? anyway, WU have became more messy in 2018 with QualityCompat and PCIClearStaleCache.exe
Unikat2000
@rhahgleuhargh abbodi told me at the NTlite forum that KB4095874 replace KB4054998 only for en-us systems, other languages like mine (german) still need KB4054998. So I added KB4054998 to my update integration list and did a VM install. Now KB3122648 & KB2973112 aren't requested anymore. Hopefully the next Security and Quality Rollup will fix that. rhahgleuhargh
@Unikat2000 Thanks for the info, I'll put KB4054998 back in the ULs. Strange that in my french VMs these two KB weren't asked, but i'll retest this evening. WU is beginning to be complicated for old OS... rhahgleuhargh
I rechecked : these updates aren't asked. So I let ULs as they are, you can still retrieve KB4084998 at the end of the file editing it with Notepad.
rhahgleuhargh
Hello, ULs mises à jour. Pas de gros changement ce mois-ci ! Security Monthly Quality Rollup : KB4284826 remplace KB4103718

rhahgleuhargh
@Thiersee Caramba ! Thank you for the correction, I didn't get it since there was no incidence in my tests. camisole
mooms
màj de ce mois-ci: KB4338818 (Monthly Rollup) Security and Quality Rollup updates for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, and 4.7.1 (KB 4340556) Nouvelle version de KB2952664 (à masquer)
Thiersee
WU offers KB4054530 for NET-FW 4.7.2 too (in MUC defined as "Function Update"); anyway not "checked" (I think it means recommended, not critical).
mooms
It's described as the offline installer of .NET 4.7.2, I'm not sure if we should install it. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4054530/microsoft-net-framework-4-7-2-offline-installer-for-windows
Thiersee
I think we should install them because 1) The full offline-installer is 70 MB + LanguagePack, this update is only 12 MB big. 2) If the offline-installer has been downloaded before 10-7-2018, this update should be installed; from the MS-Info: Quote Note The package installer (NDP472-KB4054530-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe) was updated on July 10, 2018. If you downloaded the installer before July 10, 2018, we recommend that you download the latest version (4.7.3081.0) of the installer to get the additional fixes included in the update. The version before 10-07-2018 is 4.7.3062.0. If I'll got the time, I'll try it tomorrow on my Test-PC.

Thiersee
@mooms ????? I just finished an update test on my test-PC (W7-Pro x64) with both NET-FW updates it seems there are no issues, but the version under "Installed Updates" is still the old one (4.7.03062). I forgot: no superseded updates. Edited July 10, 2018 by Thiersee
