Hello all, I have integrated a lot of updates in my Windows 7 installation. I also have donwloaded a .NET framework .exe with all updates (SLIM installer from Ricktendo) and added this as a silent installer. Everything is working great when I mount the ISO to a virtual machine and install Windows 7. The installer is running fine and .NET framework is installed. When I use an USB stick with Easy2Boot on it to install the same ISO however the .NET framework executable isn't installed afterwards. I assume that this is caused because the WinToolKitRunOnce.exe isn't able to find the .exe, because after Windows is installed I just have a USB disk with some ISO's on it in a …

I've researched the subject and have found almost all info needed to construct a batch command pipeline except how to get all keys from .reg file (or from command line) to get properly inserted into mounted subkey. I did found info about method involving running reg/regedit under desired user account, but i doubt it would work for user accounts inside wim and i also need to target key "HKU/.DEFAULT". I didn't test this. I have succeeded importing a hand-crafted .reg file into mounted subkey, but this would require me to manually alter all keys in .reg file so they get under required locations. Hello All, I just went from XP to Windows 7 RTM (X86). I never used Vista. So now I am trying to find out the basics of Unattended Windows 7. I found out that AIK can help me with the answerfile, I just need to go through all the lines, and edit where needed. But I have some questions also, like: - The $OEM$ folder, can I still use this in Windows 7? - The CMDlines.txt, does this work on Windows 7? - Is there some sort or RunOnceEx? Or something else to call executables? One other question, in XP I had to extract all file from the image and then edit them and rebuild iso. I assume Windows 7 works in that way also? Let's say you have removed the \sources\ei.cfg file to unlock all editions but integrate updates/drivers/etc. into only Win7 Professional and Ultimate. If you boot from the .iso, you're presented with all Editions to install (Home Basic, Home Premium, Pro & Ultimate) even though you only modified Pro/Ultimate. Hi guys I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit When I open my Video folder , my CPU usage goes to 99-100%. Task manager indicates Explorer.exe is the process using 99% of this. It remans 99-100% until I close explorer.exe and after I restart. I don't know why Exporer.exe would suddenly start using all my system resources when I open a video folder. :confused02: After I read maybe the problem is FLV video... Any ideas?

I don't know how I get into this, but I have trimmed my OS (Windows 7 Ultimate x86 and x64) and then tried to make a multiboot OS of full version and trimmed versions of Windows 7 Ultimate, but when I tried to install I see x64 against my x86 OS and x86 against x64 OS. See the screenshot: The highlighted one is actually x86 and the last on is actually x64 but you can see x64 against x86 OS and x86 against x64 OS. I guess it is in the wim itself as I have already tried to delete the wim and re-merge but same result. I presume that I need to edit some xml in the install.wim but I am not sure which xml and what to edit in that xml, please help me guys.
