It must mean people are hearing about Win Toolkit Hope you guys are liking it, on most sites it's getting 5 out of 5 P.S. Feel free to chat about anything in this thread (off-topic)

Sorry for giving you trouble again! I downloaded v61 and had again the same error, as sometime in the past: Program seems to be OK, because the AutoUnattend.xml is OK.

I tried the AutoUnattend.xml-Generator after a long time I didn' use it and I found an error in the section "WindowsPE/Windows-Setup/UserData" of the generated xml-file: This error causes this one if I load the generated AutoUnattend.xml in WAIK The two red/bold ProductKey should be Key; if I replace those two word with "key" the error isn't coming up. Just a question about the AutoUnattend-Generator. In earlier version was possible to choose the architectur: is this feature not possible anymore? Regards P.S.: the Key is the default one from MS.

  5. In v51 (next release) you will see a new main menu design. The changes I have made will hopefully allow beginners to see what each tool does whilst making the tool looking more professional. It looks great on Windows 8 and I have listened to users feedback about the design to make sure it's clean, sleek and less cluttered. The first thing you will notice is that all of the buttons are smaller as they are now 32x32 instead of 64x64, which has also allowed a smaller WinToolkit.exe filesize. Below i will go into detail of what has changed in each page. I've also changed some tooltip settings which will hopefully improve things. Welcome The welcome screen was initially just …

After unmounting an image in AIO while it was processing, i chose to force dismount and read the tooltip saying there could be corruption. Is it possible for this force unmount to corrupt the updates folder which I download the 'solar' updates to? I say this because I was able to install office unattended a little while back, but now can't. The errors of office not installing point to a corrupt .net framework installation. Also, should the 'force unmount' be ticked by default (as it currently is) if it can cause corruption?

  7. Tried v.59 and saw this in a popup dialog box: The system cannot find the file specified D:\W7T\Reshacker.exe -addoverwrite "C:\WinToolkit\Mount\Windows\System32\spwizimg.dll", "C:\WinToolkit\Mount\Windows\System32\spwizimg.dll", "C:\WinToolkit\Background.bmp", BITMAP,517,1033 The status bar in the WinToolkit windows said: Changing Setup Background... I thought this might be an issue with v.59, so I deleted that executable and replaced it with v.57. Same results. Tell me what you need and I'll get it to you tomorrow. My building and testing time is over for today, but I'll be happy to resume tomorrow evening. I love your program, Legolash2o! MARK STRELECKI Atlanta, GA. US…

  12. Started by upgrade,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post it but i couldn't think were to as its just a question. Basically when creating an AIO disk for example 7 Ultimate x86 and x64, when you merge install.wim files they allways get merged to your x86 folder. So if you wanted to test something you'd then have to delete the x86 folder, re-extract from iso then do all your integration's and tweaks and whatever again just to test something. Is the toolkit actually supposed to do that or isit a bug ? if its supposed to wouldn't it be simpler to ask you to choose a path to create a new folder and merge both the x86 and x64 folders into that folder leaving the two x86 and x64 folders you edi…

  14. Started by Mark Strelecki,

Using v .56 I had a nasty HANG (1st time seeing this) on the Logon Wallpaper, so instead of taking about 40 minutes on my Core i7/OCZ Revo 3 workstation, I had to cancel at an hour and twenty minutes with a status bar saying something about Logon Wallpaper. Clicked Cancel, looked at "Stopping, please wait..." for way too long, and used Task Manager to terminate the WinToolkit process. After cleanup and rebooting, I loaded the preset I previously created and eliminated the Logon Wallpaper option. Build completed without issue in the nominal 40 minutes. Install worked fine on Core2Duo laptop. MARK STRELECKI Atlanta, GA. USA

  16. Here is my last session and screenshot. After installation, no metro apps are available on the start screen for running, except metro IE and app store. However, even if I use a non built-in administrator account with UAC on to run them, they will be automatically closed right after I clicked and opened them. I'm pretty sure there must be some reg tweaks in WinToolkit that disabled the metro app platform or app container from being installed properly during windows installation, but I just don't know which tweaks. Can someone help me? Thanks. BTW, it was installed on a VHDX for native boot by using imageX /apply, without any unattend.xml. Update: Problem is resolved. Do no…

  17. Started by Legolash2o,

As you may have noticed i have released about 3 builds today with many fixes. I've just checked my logs and I've only received 2 and just released a version fixing that issue. Assuming everyone updates and i continue to barely get any logs, I will be able to plow through all of the requests adding new features which you all wanted.

  18. Hello. In 1.0.4.56 tweaks\explorer\ remove shortcut prefix - don't work. After instalation the name include "-shortcut".

  19. Something is wrong with the first logon installer (WinToolkit Installer 4.6.3, ultimate sp1 x64). It's the first time I've encontered an issue with the directx installer - it told me it was corrupt??? I'm using it for more than a year with absolutely no problems. You can find it here... I checked the size of the one from the USB stick ''disk'' and the one on my hdd - they're the same, so the ''corrupt'' case is out of the question. Or maybe win toolkit did something to it when adding it to the apps folder? Please investigate this one Lego, it's too much for me.

  20. Hello, I am pretty new to this great piece of software. I am using 1.4.0.50 version, don't integrate any addons via AIO integrator, but I also get a BSOD with stop 0x67 config_initialization_failed (with Windows 7 SP1 x64). You are talking about a registry key CurrentControlSet that should been modified to resolve the problem and version v97 (which program do you mean with the latter v97?). I also used post_mod.reg from user EB1000 and imported that in the tweaks section of AIO Integrator...but still got 0x67. Sorry i am a newbie...but can you help me to resolve this problem (exact steps)? Thank you very much!

  21. Started by Thiersee,

I tried an integration, after I have read the post from McRip, but I forgot to cancel the XP-Mode-File from the update-list; the result was that WinToolkit integrated VirtualPC and the two updates, even if WinToolkit moved this three items to the Silents+SFX (see screenshots); please, have a look to the status-line. Run integration Updates before integration Updates after integration Silent Installs + SFX before integration Silent Installs + SFX after integration And what I want to say with allt his stuff? XP-Mode must in the exceptions-list too. Regards, Thiersee P.S.: if you mean, this post is better in a new thread, please feel free to move it

  22. I get this error when trying to add also KB943790 x64 to the update list (aside other 380 x64 updates) in the latest v52 final. ''Not compatible with 7601: 'C:\WinToolkit\CInst_Windows6.1-KB943790-x64\Windows6.0-KB943790-x64.cab' ''. I don't believe this to be true, as it's only a feature pack. Please investigate this one also, Lego. LE: added also the report log for this error. ddd.txt

I am yet to find the time to try the download links provided with the toolkit for IE9, but I can't seem to get IE9 to install on win7 x64 ultimate using the msu which i automaticaaly downloaded from McRip. I have ticked some options in the tweaks area for Internet explorer, would that cause the update to not install? Also, is there a place to find a log of whether a certain update was installed following the installation of windows?
