Win Toolkit

I looked at the pinned Win Toolkit v.1.4.0.x thread, and did a search in the Guides section... can't find anything about if I can add fonts to the install process. What I mean is just the same as any drivers or program files... except I want it to install my 2500+ .ttf files into the Windows/Fonts folder.

I have recently used Win Toolkit to integrate all my windows updates into my Windows 7 install disk.Next month there will be more updates coming out and i was wondering how i go about adding those in.When loading my modified image into Win Toolkit it asks me if want to load my saved preset.I'm not sure if i need to load that preset or not just to update my image with a few more updates.If i do not load the preset and just integrate the new updates, will my image still contain my previous updates that i added and all my tweaks? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed that wintollkit mounts windows in "WinToolKit" folder under "mount" subfolder. My question is can i replace the files explorer.exe and the 5 patched theme files there before it finished all processes? If its possible, how do i get access to replace these files? since the system says i can't because its locked. Or there is another simpler way for that? The files i want to replace are. Patched explorer.exe with a new start menu orb. Patched themeservice.dll, uxtheme.dll and themeui.dll. so when i start windows after the instalation it already has my theme up and running.

Hi, Second time here and with the same probelm lol. Tried two times, fresh install, but no success interganting Language packs into a Windows 7 Enterprise x64 EN (Windows host is a 7 x64). Languages packs are PT-BR and NL both SP1 x64, actually they are integrated but... The problem is when installation starts after the windows files are loaded the first screen isn't the screen to choose the language to install, goes direclty to screen to choose keyboard and location. When the installation finishes i can choose the language, but not before the instalation. any chance to see the small bug ?

The latest version 1.4.0.65 not integrating registry .reg file correctly. I always used the same settings from the same .reg file i created a while back when i first joined the forum a while back, never had a issue. Is it possible that it got broken after this new interface change? The reg files contains some instruction to remove a few keys from registry and some changed value to get the result i want. I did 2 build's of the iso with the changes but, when i fired up a installation in a virtual machine, the settings weren't applyed. things like menus, icons settings for desktop and power option continues the same. Hi, I have W7 Ultimate and W7 Enterprise. FYI both legal copies. I created ISO-s via ImgBurn but for some reason I had no success to put either of them on YUMI. Il keep trying. Cheers

I downloaded the "newer Win 7 iso" from the download tab on the WinToolKit (with this update KB2534111) and I thought it was suppose to be newer but the modified date when choosing which Version you want to load says 4-20-10 (I think its 20 but know its 4 and 10 just not sure about the 20) but the ISO I got when I built my new system a few months ago says modified 11-20-10. I seem to be having a reoccuring error when building an install image with the latestest WinToolkit (build 65). "Windows cannot install required files. Makre sure all files required for installation are available and restart installation. Error code: 0x8007048F" Anyone have any ideas what "update could be causing this error, or is this just another bug with the latest WinToolkit? If anyone cares, I have included my last three option presets. All three give the same error.

Sorry if I missed something but I am using the latest Wintoolkit and works like a charm on Win7 stuff. I am using it to intergrate updates into an offline Vista image from a Win7 machine and instead all green when a update is slipstream, I am getting all pink. Am I not doing something right? Should I do this under a running Vista machine?

Hi i have made win7 all.in-one installtion with updates, wallpaper, themes etc, the last thing i intergrated is drivers. I use driverpacks. from www.driverpacks.net/ . I tested the installation before drivers was intergrated. all worked great. After i intergrated drivers with Wintoolkit i get an BSOD on first reboot. Hello, First post :3 . Whenever I launch Win Toolkit (My version is v1.4.0.65) it asks if I want to update. Which is odd seeing as in the lower description box it says I have the latest version. If I click the "Yes" button I get an unhandled exception with the error of: I left out the whole "Jit Debugger" part because it's not useful. The buttons "No" and "Exit" work just fine as they should, and the update link has always worked for me until this version. I'm running Windows 7 X64 Ultimate SP1, latest updates from Microsoft of course, no .net altering software or anything. No pirated version of windows. No corruption in my files (Atleast what SFC says) and nothing else …

Just in case you didn't see the message, Win Toolkit now required .NET Framework 3.5. It comes built-in to Windows 7 and 8. It is now required because i needed to fix a bug when Update Catalog was comparing dates. If i stayed with .NET 2.0 i would have had to code A LOT in order to have the same affect whilst in 3.5 is only took one line. The only way i could possible go back to 2.0 is if McRip knows how to make his files dates on his server show in UTC time instead of UTC +1 (W. Europe / Berlin). McRip: Use 'gmdate' instead of 'date' in php code.

What are the advantages over integrating the drivers with DISM? 1. This would make an AIO driver + windows 7 ISO truly possible, making the probability of conflicts even lower (the example of the AMD PCIE filter chipset driver installing on Intel-based systems comes to mind); 2. On the system only the needed drivers are installed and copied to drive C:, so a balast content with other drivers will be avoided; 3.
