Win Toolkit

I've just realized the amount of crap the Installer can install on a users' PC so I was wondering if anyone is going to re-install/format their computer if they could keep running the installer about 3-5 times to install all the crap it offers and then format. Basically, the quicker I reach the payment threshold the quick I can get rid of the installer!

Hi everybody, Just a heads up for anybody like me who is still running WinToolkit on Windows XP. If you try to integrate KB2966583, all subsequent integrations fail. It appears this update causes the Windows XP compatible version of DISM to stop working. I found confirmation of this here. I'll be putting this update into the Silent installers until I finally upgrade my computer to Windows 7. Clark

Hi! Thanks Legolash2o for scuch a great program!!! Today i downloaded all win 8.1 x64 updates with the help of WHDownloader_0.8 (WIndows Hotfix Downloder). You cand download the program from here: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/44645-WHDownloader-v0-8-Final I integrated all updates with WinToolkit v1.4.44.3 . I attached the presets. In the first preset KB2919355 was not integrated. Than i tought to do it again but move it at the end and it shows it was integrated. OK till now. So I spent the last 10 hours editing an iso and learning to use Wintoolkit. I've edited windows before but normally after a clean iso install. Tried using WTK to edit the iso before install, save time etc. Is there a log file I can post? I added alot of updates via Alphawaves' updater (all the regular ones 469, and a few didn't take) I added some addons: Waterfox, winrar, ccleaner/ccenhancer, Coretemp and coretemp gadget (all work fine) I did component removal (games, music, pictures etc. features and things I never use) - Games still show up and work ... Hi, I've been trying out WinToolKit and even when I select to remove literally everything but the red marked options I am still left out with a 6GB + OS, is it possible to slim down a windows 7 ultimate using WTK alone to around 3GB or less? I need it down to this much because I have to install it on multiple VM's with 10GB HD and from those 10G it will eat 6GB for the applications it will run and I am accounting 1GB free just in case so basically: 6GB app 3GB OS 1GB free There no paging on it either.

i integrate my chipset and display drivers. and the rest i put in a folder and copy it to my install media. i have more than just 1 computer. 1 desktop and laptop. i save all of my drivers to my external drive and wintoolkit sees all of my drivers for my computers. it uses the laptop drivers instead of my desktop drivers. how to stop it from installing these.

Hey everyone.. I am incorporating driver packs into my install image so it makes it easier to re image computers when i do my repairs for others.It just simplifies things.. thing is, it makes the installation about 30+ gigs rather than the normal 10 - 15 gigs. is there a way to only use the drivers it needs, then remove the extra ones after installation? Hi guys, Is there any possibility how to detect if an update has .net 4.x dependencies? I have trouble installing a win7pro + updates (more than 400+). errorlog says .net error cause not installed. i know in sp1 is a 3.5 but some updates seem to need 4.x. how to detect with one? Install aborted with "Windows ould not configure one or more system components..." then restart loops going to start. Please tell me what information do you guys need to help out. cheers -krutt

I'd like to get more informations about this feature, since I didn't find anything in the guides section. If I understood correctly, when a "drivers" folder is found in the root of the install drive (or any other drive), the script is launched. It will install only the drivers in that folder that are actually needed by the system. Is it correct? 1) May I ask how is that achieved? Does it have something to do with the SAD2 script? 2) It sounds like a big improvement over integrating the drivers directly in the image. I get two 7-zip unspecified errors that pop up when the installation adds addons flashplayer activex and plugin's by Reaper. This halts unattended installation. I used other addons from him that work fine. Those 2 halt the automation, any ideas? The first 2 in the pic caused this pop-up error. Hope these forums are alive.

hello people out there :-) I really like the work with this WinToolkit. Unfortunately I am not able to build an image which is bootable over an usb stick. After reading many things on the forum (tutorials etc) I still do not really understand how to create something which is bootable from a usb stick. I have an original win7 x64 dvd plus office 2010 dvd available also I downloaded all updates but how can I just put all that stuff together to make a unattendable image? The integrated DirectX 11 in Windows 7 is not enough for some programs and games. They will ask for older DirectX files (like d3dx10_43.dll is missing). I tried today the WUD with the list from user rhahgleuhargh (post #342), modified for german and italian: no issues, no difficulties, but: 1) I deleted KB2533552 and KB2603229 from "Silent-Installers+SFX" (WKT puts them there), but during integration KB2533552 goes back to the "Silent Installers"! 2) KB2603229 (deleted from Silent Installers!) is integrated with the "normal" updates! I'm new to using Win Toolkit, but I've got a general question related to the continued updating of a build over time. I know that I can take a WIM that I've updated with Microsoft updates and add additional Microsoft updates as new updates are released. However, let's say that I'm also integrating a few addons or silent installers (runonce). What is the proper method to remove and/or update addons or runonce installers in a build? Do I have to start from scratch to do this? If so, that would be a real pain to have to integrate all the updates again just to modify an addon. Any recommendations or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, Do the AIO-Integrator move incompatible updates automatically? Incompatible Updates: Updates they should move to silent installers, else bsod or other errors. So lets AIO-Integrator make it completely alone or i have to care with handling updates? Thx for answering.
