Win Toolkit

Actually, it appears to be removing the packages only to parse them straight back. I can't make sense of these "Unknown" packages either; they don't appear to be anything like the lists of removed components being posted on MSDN or MDL forums, and don't correlate with the packages Technet lists for Win 8. I'm trying a few other methods to remove them but would this be a Component Remover bug or a problem with corruption in my system?

First let me say I love this tool and thank you to all involved in creating it. I updated an x64 install wim using a program, Simplix Pack Windows 7 Updater. My install wim was 3,804,312kb after compressing with an imagex command. I then used Wintoolkit and removed 4 languages, Windows Gadgets and all but 1 local pack. I then used the rebuild option and created an ISO in Wintoolkit. I again checked the install wim and it grew to 3,805,745kb. Why does it grow when removing compinents. Thanks

Hello guys, Do you know if I import a registry file through Tweaks if this is going to be added to all users? I'm building a Windows 7 SP1 Customized Image. I know for sure if I do it manually through the WIM Reg editor that its possible. If this was possible through the Tweaks section at AIO Integrator, instead of doing my tweaks everytime through the WIM Reg Editor I would just need load my tweaks preset. I have a Windows 8.1 Update 3 MSDN ISO, for which I have downloaded 60 updates with WHDownloader. 8 of those updates are hotfixes. I am integrating all the updates and then testing the newly modified resulting ISO in a virtual machine to be sure it works, before installing it on my system. But I see an option in WTK about installing updates in GDR vs LDR/QFE mode, which has a checkbox beside it (unchecked by default). I have a very basic understanding of what these terms mean. Hi, Topic title says it all. I'm trying to get 7 HP onto a Dell Mini with a 8GB PATA SSD. I've now done it twice -- straight up and by stopping the process at the first reboot and telling it to compress Windows files as described here: http://gizmodo.com/5257386/how-to-install-windows-7-on-almost-any-netbook Neither has made any difference. Does it just search each available drive letter and return the first match for something like "D:\sources\winsetup.dll"? What if I have more than one disc mounted at the time this runs?

I was downloaded all the updates with both of downloaders and alwys I have one problem.When I integrate that updates and install win7_x86,there is more about 25 updates to install...how is that possible?

Hi guys, I'm officially stumped on what to do next. I have two images, one with Windows 7 SP1 OEM English and another with Windows 7 SP1 OEM German. The german image keeps failing during the build process when adding the new updates. My Anti-Virus (AVG Free) is turned off. WinTool Kit is running with admin privileges. I am running Windows 7 SP1. Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit image created with the Win Toolkit results in the "Print" function not working in Internet Explorer on my 'C' drive. I dual boot and the clean install OS on 'D' drive doesn't have this problem. On the off chance that there is something I mistakenly checked when I was choosing options, does anyone know if there is a disable printing in Internet Explorer?

I noticed that if i checked LDR-QFE mode in options of AIO integrator, updates will be integrated only in GDR mode. Did i missed something? or there is special reason for that ? I use last updates from WHDownloader and many updates can be installed in LDR mode... On windows 7 everything works just fine. Also can i suggest some option, if we look readme of updates from WHDownloader, we see that some updates need to be install in only GDR, so would be nice if we can select something for example force GDR install, to can choose what update(s) will install in what mode(s). I have been using WTK for a few months. I noticed by accident that smartscreen is turned (off as the default) when I install Win 7 from iso's created by WTK. I am using WTK to integrate IE11 and well as updates etc. By default in a non wtk install I believe smartscreen is turned on. Is there a reason or setting for this? regards...

Hello, I tried to test an integration of Win8.1 x64 updates with Wintoolkit 1.5.3.3 using latest ISO of WIN 8.1 pro (38 updates and the 9 of .NET FW 3.5 of my UL). The WIM Manager appears to be stuck on busy. Trying to close it gives me the attached message telling me it can't close because it's busy. How do I stop it?

It seems that there is a serious bug in win toolkit. I am not a programmer, more of a hardware guy. Hence the reason looking for a tool like Win Toolkit or rt seven etc. Rt seven was giving my finished slipstreamed updated win 7 disk a sfc error (sfc /scannow) at an elevated command prompt. This is the main reason that I changed to Win Toolkit. However it seems that this also happens in Win toolkit's latest version. I do not know the reason why system files become corrupted (sometimes they are repaired after numerous runs of sfc) but most times they are not. Hey guys, I noticed the new option to alter the install.wim date, but it does not work for me. I have finished intergrating everything all done, and works. Now when i make the iso i enable the option to set date, only option i have is custom date. What for me is date i run the app itself. Now modify install.wim is disabled and when i install windows 7 the date is still 2010. Any clue how i can fix this ? using version 1.5.3 downloaded yesterday and had same problems before this never got it working. Though hopefully somebody can help me with this, as i often get questions as to when i updated the iso's last time.

I get the attached when I attempt to mount an iso. I have no idea as to where to look for these non-English characters. Any ideas?

@Lego in the new version 1.5.3.2 alle updates are not integrated ! this bug is new. In all earlier versions I didn't have these problemes. Win 7 x64 sp1 german. Regards
