Win Toolkit

Hello, clearly there is an issue of what happens when a known update is moved to the silent installers. I'm planning on designing a screen which appears when know updates are detected and you will untick the ones you wish to keep in the Updates lists. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, etc... I try to make automate windows7x64 ISO with tool kit , but each time during the installation in expanding file I got this error . I try diffrent windows7 ultimate updates to make it but still have this error. any idea about problem ?

I started a thread awhile back that sfc /scannow was reporting errors that it could not repair some system files when using WTK to make a slipstreamed iso. I thought I finally resolved that issue but it has reared its ugly head again. I just made a new updated Win 7_64 Home Premium iso using WTK v.1.5.3.12. I ran an elevated CMD prompt and sfc reports errors to system files that cannot be repaired. After careful observation of my CBS.log I had 8 files that could not be repaired. The first one is UTC.APP.JSON. After googling this file it seems that a very recent Microsoft update KB3022345 is causing the issue. It definitely affects Win 7 and its also supposed to affect Win…

Is the Wintool tab: "Copy Modified Files to Your Image", only for replacing existing Windows files like Notepad.exe or calc.exe or can you add non-existing files as well. I ask because I see that radio check button and I tried adding custom cursors to the Windows\Cursors folder on Windows 8.1 and nothing happened. I also can't reliably copy to the cursor folder using WPI after an install. Any suggestions. (I'm using version 1.5.3.12 if it makes any difference.

Greetings, I'm trying to make a fully updated all-in-one Windows 7 ISO and I have a couple questions: If simply removing 'ei.cfg' allows one to choose any of Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate why include in the WIM a separate image for each one? I need this ISO to load from an Easy2Boot USB drive, so "silent installs + SFX" won't work. What would be the best way to integrate things that need to be installed live? I'm thinking of using an '$OEM$' folder and 'SetupComplete.cmd,' but I'd prefer to not leave clutter around after the installation. Any advice would be appreciated.

Has anyone tried it with WinToolkit or in general? Using the latest version of WinToolkit, I merged the Win7 64bit into the Win 8.1 Pro 64bit install.wim and booted from USB. If I select to install Windows 7, I get the error that License Terms cannot be found and cannot continue. Needless to say that Win 8.1 installation goes fine. What are your experiences?

I can't connect to McRip's update servers with WinToolkit, but I believe I know why and I wanted to share a work-around for anyone else affected. I believe McRip won't accept connections from my IP address. I use Shaw Communications in British Columbia, Canada as my ISP. I suspect he did that to deal with whoever was attacking his site some months ago. You will know if you have the same problem if your Internet works with all other sites, but when you point your browser to http://hotfix2.cesidian.info/ you get no response at all (page doesn't load). This is my second time using Win Toolkit first i integrated windows 7 and the updates fine! Now i'm trying to integrate Windows 8.1 64 bit. So i downloaded all the updates, than i extracted the iso, Than i procced to mount the extracted folder but i get this messaged (This does not seem to be a valid Installation DVD, Pleased make sure that the folder you select has '\sources\install.wim' in it.) Now looking in the sources folder i do not see the install.wm file i only see (install-Install.exe.mui-install.esd) How can i make this work? TIA

Hi there! A while ago I used WinToolkit to strip my Windows 7 SP1 installation disc. Among other components, I removed the Windows Media Player. Now it seems GTA V PC Setup/Download tool, needs it, otherwise it won't run. Is there a way I can either get a Windows Media Player installer for Windows 7? Probably not, because it comes integrated? Or might there be some other thing to try, without me having to completely redo my Windows 7 Installation disc? Hope to hear from you guys, and thanks in advance.

Hi! I made a new image with some silent installers: vcredist 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013 both x64 and x86. I also had a silent for .net 4.5.1. It installed only vcredist x64 No vcredist x86 or .net I use v1.5.3.20 Any Ideas? /Falo

I've used Win Toolkit/AIO Intergrator to create and successfully install updated 64-bit Win7 SP1 Pro in the past, but this time every single attempt has run into an infinite failed installation loop. What I mean by that is that the installation will fail for some unknown reason late in the install process such that it tells you to restart and try again, except that the exact same failure occurrs every re-try attempt. Naturally, I wasn't so nuts that I just kept on trying, but instead after each failure I removed yet another element from the AIO Integrator preset settings and rebuilding again from scratch (careful to erase the working install folder and then re-load it …

hey guys, im going to make an AIO disk for windows 8.1 as intend to for 10 upon RTM, but i cannot work something out! if i want to integrate all updates and one or a few addons and reg tweaks then how do i got about it so it works on every edition for example if i have a disk with ALL version of windows possible then i go to integrate updates i have to select a version from the wim file so does this mean the updates will only be integrated for that edition of windows ? if thats the case and i have to do separate for each one this means the iso would be huge! is there a way to integrate all updates and addon so the x86 versions all work with them and the x64 with theirs ?

Hi, I started using wintoolkit again after a little break from it. I am doing windows 8.1 Pro installation and everything else if working as supposed but I have a little problem with integrating windows updates to my image. I used Alphawawes Downloader and downloaded and integrated all the updates it offered to me. Now I did an installation to test computer. After image installation I went to windows update and it offered me ten updates, that was ok. I installed those and rebooted computer. But after reboot I went back to windows update and this time it offered me 61 important updates and 28 optional! Did I do something wrong or why there is so many windows upda…
