XP Home does not use Mini-Setup option and the sysprep.inf will not load the unattended stuff. Pro works fine. Been a long time since I used sysprep for Home. How do you unattend the process for Home? oobeinfo.ini? Need the product key to be entered automatically.

I saw that in the i386 directory of my xp install cd the login and the boot files are in there so i want to replace them with my personalized versions only problem is there compressed dose anyone know how to compress my files the same way nlite dose it so that when i install xp it dosent get errors copying the file thanks. Can anyone tell me how to unlock LUNA style in default Windows XP theme. I don't want to integrate a new theme other than default XP theme. Default XP theme comes with three styles. A replacement of default XP theme including luna will be fine. so today i decided to install internet explorer 8 beta 1, which went fine. the only problem is that after installing it, IE8 refuses to let me disable the menu bar. going to "View-->Toolbars-->Menu Bar" and clicking it does nothing; the option isnt greyed out, i just cant uncheck it. i undid every change i made in group policy editor, so my best guess is that the problem is rooted in some obscure registry setting. also, uninstalling IE8 and going back to IE7 does not solve the problem. this isnt a huge deal since i use firefox 3 and only open internet explorer on patch tuesday...but im obsessive about UI stuff like this so if anyone knows of a fix i would really ap…

I am trying to integrate OnePiece_Windows_XP_Post-SP3_UpdatePack_v3.8.0_ENU.7z into a stock install of XP Pro SP3. The integration goes fine, but after I install windows, when trying to do Windows updates online, I have one update that will not install properly (KB982524). It just keeps installing it over and over. Is anyone else having similar issues? This appears to be a problem with the dotnet installs (or a problem with me). I have ovewrote my Unattended Hard Drive with a ghost image of my OS, can anyone give me suggestions on a good recovery program so that I can retrieve any data that could be left behind. So I'm New here and i was wondering if it was possible to integrate windows media center(WMC) into another version of xp that doesn't have media center and have it act like Media Player does.
