When you have created your own Windows 7 AIO with all or some wanted images on one install.wim image you can customize your Autounattend.xml file to suit your needs. WSIM is included with AIK 3.0 for Windows 7. http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=5753 When all your customization are made, save the file. How to use Windows 7 DISM by Muiz. Q : What is DISM? A : Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) Q : Why this guide? A : Cause there is NO information about this tool out yet. DISM is the replacement for the older deployment tools from Microsoft, like PKMGR and PEIMG WAIK doesnt support this yet, so when you want to use WAIK, use it from a Vista or XP, not from a Windows 7 When you work from Windows 7, you dont need to install DISM, cause its already in it. You can basicly do anything to your image with DISM, even aplly unattended settings to it , so you can use it unattended without XML. How to get DISM? Mount your Windows 7 and go to the System32 folder of the …

Hi, I am in the process of setting up a small (two PC's, both running Windows 7) network using a D-link DI-604 router (which acts only as hub, it's not set up in any way). In the Network and 'Sharing Center' in 'Control Panel' I clicked 'Set up a New (Connection or) Network'. All went well up until the moment I attempted to connect one PC with the other (In the 'Connect' dialog I entered the other PC's IP, no pwd). I can use both PC's to connect to and browse the net though, so the router/hub does not seem to be the problem. And I must have done something right, because the other computer shows up in the 'Network Map'. Any and all help is much appreciated! /Goran

Has anyone experienced after your PC is on for extended periods of time that you don't have any available memory left? Once my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 OS boots, memory usage is at about 32%, but after it runs through the day, memory usage jumps to more than 90%. no matter if I don't have any active programs. Once I hit that stage, I get the "insufficient resources when trying to open programs" error. It is probably related to some third party application having a memory leak. I've googled and found that it could be related with audiodg.exe which is a Creative driver process. Just for the record, I have 4GB of DDR2 RAM. I will try to track what's going on with process expl…

According to Solar's hotfix information, Windows6.1-KB2533552-x64 is not integratable with the install source. If that is the case, how does one get that update automatically on the install without going to Windows updates? I only ask this because I am a perfectionist. I have every other update applicable to a x64 source integrated and when checking the install, the above update (KB2533552) is still needed. So, who can help me with this one? Edit: After further investigation, this is not a problem with the KB2533552 update as previously mentioned with the old topic title ("How to integrate KB2533552?"). It appears to be an integration problem. Skip down a few posts to…
